I don't eat out often, but if I am craving fast food, my go to is generally Wendy's. This visit was not worth the 11 bucks I... paid at all. The Fries were Luke warm, old and extremely salty, the Dave's double was drowned in ketchup and mayo and the edgesof the cheese was hard not to mention it was extremely dry and definitely not freshly cooked. The Root beer was flat. The onlything decent was my free tiny peppermint frosty (halloween coupon) & it wasn't all that minty. Think I'll just skip this fastfood place in York, it was just not good. It literally took 20 min. to get just a spicy chicken sandwich n on the intercom was a sign that said closing at 9 due to... employee shortage! They need to pick it up, they use to jump all the time! It was a good spot! Read more
This is probably the slowest drive thru in York (maybe all of South Carolina). Which I truly don?t understand because they are... never that busy inside and the drive thru is only busy because of the insane amount of time people have to wait for someone totake their order. The drive threw was slow. They had no salt packets to give out. They handed me my drink closed the window and three employees... were playing and having a good time while I was sitting there. I had to call them to the window to see what I was waiting for.Then they said my potato. I told them they had poor customer service. I will never return to this Wendy's again. Read more
So, I had some time to kill. I decided that I wanted ice cream. However, since Wendy's is close to Lowes, here in York, SC., I... decided to get a frosty. I come in and order a vanilla frosty. "I'm sorry we are out of vanilla frosty(s)," said the young girlbehind the counter. "What flavors do you have?" I asked. "We have chocolate and strawberry." And they have been out of vanillafor several months now." I was informed. I was flabbergasted! Now I'm allergic to strawberry and I don't care for chocolate. Myquestion is... they close early... I have had this experience also in the past and when talking to the district manager, was told this should... not be happening. Come through 2 nights ago and they were closed early. Wendy's literally has extended hours listed online...why though? If you can't stay open, and the management claims you shouldn't be closing early, why are you still doing it? Read more
The manager here needs to be fired. You always have a really long drive through line and she only does one order at a time. That... means we have to wait for one car to order, pay, and get their food before the next can order! My gas light came on this timewaiting 20 minutes for 2 frostys! Y'all need help cuz this is completely ridiculous! Get a better manager!! Read more
I will surely say the food is great but the accuracy is not as outstanding. Occasionally the same worker that rings up my order... will always get my order wrong meaning she never strives to improve. Other times I will get shorted a nugget or even two andthat is tedious to have to get that corrected. But overall, I will definitely say I am pleased enough to come back for more asthe food is superb here and they are at least friendly and willing to correct the order with a smile. Read more
