What I love about breweries is that no two are exactly alike. Eavesdrop's layout is unique from those I've visited in the DMV.... Secluded rooftop, ample outdoor seating, and a decent-sized inside taproom. They were also one of the few breweries serving wine(not crafted by Eavesdrop)?an excellent alternative for guests that don't like beer. The beer itself was solid. Read more
Very cute place, lots of places to sit both indoor and outdoor, outdoor seating has both covered and uncovered seating areas.... Tables with umbrellas that can be closed if need be. Speakers that play music outside. Dog friendly. Delicious selection ofbeer. Staff is very friendly. Great lighting indoors and out. Had a great time. Plenty of bar snack options, there's a hotdogstand on site that also serves up plenty of fries in various flavor styles (chili, kimchi, elote, etc) Read more
This place is pretty chill. Lots of great outdoor space to enjoy a brew. The surrounding area leaves a bit to be desired in... terms of ambiance, but there are some really cool murals painted on the sides of the buildings directly surrounding the brewery.I didn't try the food, but there are dining options. There is also a very well stocked beer store on premises offering a numberof different breweries' beers. Evesdrop's beer was good! I tried a fruited sour that was delicious, and an experimentalmilkshake ale that was... interesting. I happened to be here on their 4th anniversary and what a fun afternoon it was! The sitting area is geared towards the sort of... crowd with lots of outdoor seating space. Picnic tables seat 6 comfortably. High top wine barrel tables interspersed and thenthere are longer tables for larger crowds. Family friendly and dogs as well. The food choices are an occasional truck and anadjacent hot dog place that has fantabulous loaded hot dogs. The beers themselves, the selection is excellent. There issomething for everyone. A lager, kolsch, few different IPAs and 4+ sours. I found most beers tended to be on the sweet side:even the sours didn't leave me as pucker faced. The scwartzlager was definitely my favorite. All in all, a solid place to hangon a weekend afternoon with friends n family. Read more
Perfect place to enjoy some uniquely crafted fresh beers with a date, alone or with the kids! The outside space is huge and... awesome when the weather is nice out. There is more to this brewery than your typical IPA or pilsner, as the sour beers arefantastic! The atmosphere here is great and the staff are very knowledgeable as well as friendly! Read more
Local place with great outside space. Lovely selection of beer and cider. Live music inside is really nice. For the kiddos,... there?s a connect four board to keep them entertained (at least our kid!!). Definitely recommend. Oh and food options next door. Read more
Fun brewery to hang out with friends, especially when the weather permits for outside seating. Lots of fire pits and heat lamps.... Inside area has some seating but gets crowded quickly. Outside area has a few games for kids or adults to enjoy. Tables aresnagged quickly so get there early and enjoy a whole day! Great variety of craft beers to choose from with Eugene?s Sausage &Fries adjacent for some delicious food. Sorry, we gobbled it all down before getting a photo of them. The garlic Parmesan frieswere deliciously crisp & the sausage was loaded with sauerkraut and other deliciousness! Parking is scarce, but there?s a freevalet parking available which is worth utilizing. When you see the colorful wall of art, you know you?re in the right place it?stucked behind that building.
