We moved away from the area ten years ago and this was our go-to sushi place so when we were in town for vacation we visited... again. It was so good and did not disappoint. Their sushi is top notch. So grateful for this local gem, I can never make it much longer than a week before another visit. Most consistent highest... quality sushi on our peninsula, amazing katsu fried to perfection, great rice and dumplings, fresh soups and awesome gingerdressing! Excellent customer service. The waitress was hilarious. She came out to the table with our second order of tempura shrimp and... vegetables and said "We had a change of chefs, this chef was skinny so the shrimp are skinny." LOL love it! The volcano roll wasamazing and the ginger house salad was great. The rainbow roll was a little off from what I would expect. It wasn't as cold asyou would expect from fresh sushi but it was alright. This one of my favorite restaurants around - while not what I would call truly authentic Japanese food, it is delicious... regardless and well priced for the portion sizes. The quality of the sushi is quite good as well. The staff is friendly and thewait time for food is never too long. Would recommend you try if you're in the area. Read more
