Went here in a Saturday afternoon for lunch. I so wanted to be impressed with this place. The menu and drinks sounded very... appealing. However, the service was horrendous. I walked in and there was no one at the hostess booth. I had to ask thebartender to be seated. I ordered a Kountry Black Raspberry Basil cocktail and Strawberry Ricotta Bruschetta. The drink wasamazing! While the appetizer was small, it was very good as well. Sadly, service was the opposite. After finally getting a seat,my bartender said that he had a 6 top and was “swamped.” I gave my order to a waiter that wasn’t even mine. I got my food5-10 minutes BEFORE I got my cocktail. Also, I never got silverware or a napkin. I had to ask someone from the kitchen! For arestaurant that is going for a modern, semi-upscale restaurant/bar theme, they need to step up their service game, BIG TIME. Iwould go back only if I knew the service had improved. It was our first time coming here. We came here a day early to beat the Father's Day rush and it was awesome! I had the filet... mignon with lobster tail (Surf & turf) and my husband had the porterhouse steak....both came with roasted potatoes. We also hadthe stuffed portabello mushrooms as a appetizer. It was awesome! The drinks were very good also. Everyone was very kind from thewaitress Becky (I think that is her name)...the bartender, hostess and management. We will definitely be returning soon! Food and atmosphere were amazing! We had the raspberry donut cheesecake and it was delicious ???? I had the heartbreaker drink... and it was almost to pretty to drink! It's on the pricey side but well worth it! Read more
For the price, we were disappointed with the quality of food. I ordered the Shrimp Michaelangelo ($29) and had 5 small pieces... of shrimp. The filet was the only piece of steak that was worth the price. For apps, we got saganaki and mozzarella balls. The saganaki was good but again was disappointed at how many balls we received for the high price. May come back for lunch butdefinitely the next time we want a nice dinner we will go elsewhere. Such an awesome place! The best steak I have ever eaten and the drinks are amazing! The avocado crostini app was a favorite at... our table. I had wanted to try this place, and it's nice inside. However, I wasn't overly impressed with the food. I ordered the salmon. By... itself, it was bland. The sauce (I assume soy?) was too salty. In addition to the salmon, I'd ordered a mocktail. For those twoitems, I ended up paying over $40. To me, $40 for mediocre food was way too expensive. Although I may try again in the future,it definitely won't be my first choice. Especially with so many other wonderful options in the area. Read more
Dishes well thought out and executed on, cocktails are especially superb, staff was attentive and informative. Certainly the... highest quality dining experience in this area to date. Environment has been totally overhauled from previous restaurant,extremely beautiful redesign. Price would possibly be a concern for some, but the reality is that everything I ordered wassuperb and worth it, not only for the food but service was top notch. This is a very high quality restaurant which understandswhat a an excellent restaurant is: not just delicious food with high quality ingredients – but also attentive and informativestaff in a lovely environment - all of these elements equally important, and all present here. There are many photos of "silver fox" movie stars inside plus drinks that are named after them. I had the David Hasselhoff that... I thought had too much pineapple in it but the frozen watermelon balls was a nice touch. I had the ahi tuna, shrimp cocktail,and the sakanaki cheese and all three tasted as good as their plated presentation. The raspberry donut cheesecake tasted justlike it's name. We will be back.
