Sitting outside on the patio after a wine tasting from the tasting room was so enjoyable. The ambiance is great, and the staff... was nice. I really enjoyed my poinsettia mimosa. It was delicious. The quiche I got was a little bland. My mom got the shrimpand grits and it was far too salty. She brought it home and ended up fixing it up to enjoy. The food was 6/10 since it was kindof pricey, but the overall experience was really nice. Read more

My guess is that this is a locals joint. It says fine dining but seems far from it. My husband and I both got specials. I can't... deny that specials are not always great because they are not made in the kitchen regularly, however, my salmon tasted fishy, notfresh at all, and the brussel sprouts seemed to have been boiled with no seasoning. My husband's sirloin looked like a typicalgrocery store sirloin, it was a tad overcooked but otherwise tasted average. The signature risotto was also under seasoned. Wedid also have the charcuterie appetizer and it was nice. The view was pleasant as was the staff. Unfortunately for the price andquality of the food we will not be returning on future trips. Amazing food, great waitress service and stellar scenery. The reason only 4 stars is the hostess. First impressions are... everything and when we arrived at 11:27 for our 11:30 reservation we were told, ?Can you wait outside until your reservationtime at 11:30?? I was shocked, especially since the table we were eventually seated at three minutes later was ready and waitingfor us! We should have been seated with menus and told that our waitress would be with us shortly. Poor training or very poorjudgment or both but that left a terrible impression. The wine was very good and the service elsewhere on the property (wineryand market) was very good. We were also told we could not sit outside because they were ?booked? yet there were several tablesoutside that remained empty the entire time we were seated, until we departed even! ??????????? Again, poor hostess skills. Theviews and food were good and we will probably go back but I do hope they do something to improve their hostess skills! Read more

Last night's dinner at Paris & Company was absolutely delicious. My husband had an escargot appetizer and I had lobster bisque.... For dinner, my husband had duck l'orange and I had and apple, fig, brie stuffed chicken breast with a brie sauce and absolutelywonderful green beans as well as a glass of the Crane Creek Winery Winter Harvest White and a glass of the Apfelwein (both verygood). The food was outstanding and staff very nice. The restaurant is small inside and, unfortunately for us, other diners madethe overall experience unpleasant. A table of 6 (3 couples) appeared to have come in already drunk and they were very loud anddisruptive. Another couple were nice but the gentleman spoke at volume 11, so we had to listen to everything he had to say. Theyhave outside seating for warmer seasons. We look forward to returning another time to enjoy the food again. Read more

What a lovely place for lunch!! We made reservations to sit outside on what turned out to be a beautiful day! The place is just... SO peaceful! All of our meals were delicious, the staff and management were attentive, and the scenery was spectacular! All ofour meals were fresh and the chef?s attention to detail was highly apparent. There own wines from Crane Creek Vineyards wereyummy. They have a place right outside that would be charming for a wedding. I will definitely make it a point to go there againnext time I am anywhere near Young Harris GA! Read more
