Their ice cream is always delicious. Staff is always friendly, but they can be kind of slow-moving at times. They even have GOOD... sugar-free flavors which I feel is kind of rare for a local shop. Read more
I've been a patron here for more years than I can remember and it has always been my favorite ice cream hands down. I can only... speak of this location and not the others but my last 4 visits here have been underwhelming at best. They have reduced theamount of ingredients that made Handels well, Handels! Where's the chips in the Cotton Candy and the Mint Chocolate Chip? Whereare the pecans in the Praline Pecan and Chocolate Pecan? Hardly any chocolate/peanut butter pieces in Buckeye. Very good ice cream, many flavor choices. This is the location of the original that started it all.
Just wanted a cotton candy ice cream cone.. cotton candy flavor should not have chocolate chips throughout it. At the very least... it should be stated that chocolate is in that flavor at all! Disgusting. Thanks for ruining ice cream. Read more

Handel's has been around for many , many years and has always provided an excellent product. The portions are generous. Proud to... say we have a long time local ice cream that is delicious. If you have been there you had to find a flavor to suit your taste.Also have seasonal flavors to look forward to. Glad they are open all year round. Read more
Handel uses carrageenan ( sea weed) to thicken the ice cream. It saves them from using more cream. I don't even know; if Handel... can legally call their product ice cream? Read more
