We went for my mom's birthday on a Saturday night. I definitely recommend making reservations. Our waiter was very nice. Great... family restaurant atmosphere. When a waitress accidentally dropped a glass near our table, pieces of glass flew onto our table.Our waiter and the manager quickly cleaned off our table and brought us new water and appetizer. Now, about the food. It wasjust ok. The best was the fried zucchini. All of it looked good, but was bland, except for my sister's steak. The steak wascooked to perfection, but was very salty. Great service and the Italian food is very good. If you aren't very hungry, then you should share. The portions are massive.... Jocelyn was our server and she was so friendly. We were traveling, so it can be difficult to find something good, when you'renot familiar. Definitely worth it. Read more
The employees are always friendly and kind. They are super fast at the concession stand too which is always nice. I really... appreciate how clean and tidy they are with the hot foods and drink. Wow!! Traveling from Massachusetts to Colorado I decided to stay the night in Youngstown Ohio. I'm thinking about moving to... Youngstown Ohio now, based on my experience at this restaurant alone! Wonderful Italian food... really spectacular... And I am agreat Italian cook, so I rarely give huge compliments to Italian restaurants. I had no idea that Youngstown Ohio was a hiddengem in the middle of the country that is known for its wonderful Italian food. Everything is homemade. Flavor galore... Portionswere phenomenal. Prices were incredibly reasonable for this day and age. What a treat! I wish I had a couple of days to spendhere so I could try all the other places that were recommended to me. Read more
First time here & as expected in a lovely way. The server was a very kind and helpful young lady who helped me pick a sweet red... wine that was picked perfectly to my liking. I believe it was called "lambrusco" red wine. I ordered the veal marsala and it wasdevine and delicious! Beautiful spread of food and ambiance and I also got steamed broccoli & a Ceasar salad as sides.Everything I ordered is pictured below...the Cesar in the picture has both their house and Cesar dressing on it which was afabulous mixture. Everyone is friendly and helpful, they have a good wine selection, food is okay. The first time I ate there, I ordered whole... wheat pasta, it wasn't completely cooked and definitely came from a box. The gnocchi on my second trip was overcooked, butstill pretty good. Read more
This Italian restaurant had a large menu to select from. Try the lasagna and cheese sticks and both were out of this world.... Service was very good and I enjoyed the ambience and decor with its Christmas decorations. Definitely the place to visit ifyou?re in the mood for Italian. Read more
The food here was great. Better than I expected from an Italian restaurant in Ohio. They were pretty busy so reservations are... recommended. The place was also packed, which is a good sign. Live music was provided on this night near the bar. The onlycomplaint I have is about the speed of service, and the fact that they do not provide olive oil dip for the bread unless askedfor it.
