It was my mom's birthday so looking at the reviews we decided to go there for brunch. Service was great even though there was... only one server for the whole place. I ordered sausage and gravy, I tried it and it was different, not that it was bad but ithad a sweetness to it that I didn?t like so I asked the server to please take it, she asked if I wanted to take it home I saidno thank you. She didn?t ask if I wanted something else or anything, I understand she was busy, no one came to check on us, noone came to refill our drinks or anything. As I said before, I understand she was the only one and even though it?s a smallrestaurant, taking care of all those tables by yourself is overwhelming (I was a server before) When I asked for the bill Inoticed I have been charged for the sausage and gravy, I asked and she said she was gonna go get the manager, he came to thetable and without hearing what I had to say he said ?I sold over 150 of the same dish over the weekend and no one complainedabout it, so you ordered it you pay for it? and left, without even listening to me! The waiter came and said that she had herhands tied and couldn?t do anything because he is the OWNER. I said to her that if I?m gonna pay for it I will take it home orget a replacement. She said the owner said to charge me half off. That is not the point, I didn?t want free food or not pay foranything, I was just not expecting that kind of treatment from a restaurant owner. We ordered gourmet Nutella donut and it was absolutely fantastic. Then we ordered Frosted toast crusted French toast and philly... cheese steak omelette and it was absolutely delicious. What a wonderful experience here today! We met friends for brunch, and it was AMAZING! Staff was fast and friendly, food is all... real food, cooked to order. Guys, try this place it is fantastic.
