Sidetrack is a GEM! Staying in Ypsi for work and stumbled upon it while driving through town. So glad I did. Known for there... burgers and it didn?t disappoint. BBQ slaw burger was delicious as well as the sweet potato fries! Finally, they have a greatselection of beers on tap. Happy hour is amazing. Where else can you get a gorgonzola cheeseburger. Bacon caramelized onions etc. A lot of good beers if you're into that kind of... thing. Fully stocked bar. Nice staff. Read more
Ice cold beer and so many craft draft ..burgers are so good also..never had a bad meal here
The burgers are good but in my opinion do not live up to the hype. It was most definitely under-sized to the weight of the beef... listed in the menu even considering how ground beef reduces when it cooks. Neither burger was cooked as we requested. Theservice could surely have been better, even with a measure of grace for current food service industry challenges. They hadplenty of staff and weren't very busy at the time. Overall, they over promise in their marketing and menu ("Best burgerin....!!!") but under deliver on the plate. I'll go back if it's convenient and I would recommend considering them for a meal,just enter with more realistic expectations. We've been in Ypsi going on three years and this past Easter weekend was our first time going into sidetracks. We have no idea... why we are so late to the party... everything was wonderful and we will definitely go back. The menu was vast, the service wasgreat overall , our experience was so enjoyable that this will be our new Watering Hole. Read more
It would be 5 stars but today was a sad sight. Overall, Sidetracks is awesome! Great service and food. I ordered via Caviar... and got the black bean tacos. It says it comes with rice, beans, sour cream, and salsa. The American slices of cheese thatwere barely melted is just tacky. I had to warm the tacos up in my oven, which helped but still. And there was barely anyblack bean burger. Seriously disappointed for the FIRST time with this restaurant. Read more
Nice place, good bar atmosphere. Ordered a steak and Miller Lite, the waitress recommended a similar local micro-brew so I went... with that instead. Very good, both the food and the beer, plus friendly service...and trains! (Had an Amtrak rush by, that wasneat.) Read more
We had fried pickles and fried mushrooms along with some great beers. Our server, Danny, was amazing and very friendly. Best... fried pickles and mushrooms any of us have ever had. The fried mushrooms were full sized. The brownie covered in ice creamtook up an entire plate! Read more
