Good day Googlers, I?m catching up on some places I?ve been in my travels and didn?t want to forget about this place. Although... this places needs a major renovation it was nice to see some of the old still there. There was a part that looks like it wasjust finished up and neat but we chose to sit and watch the grill staff. I wish the grill staff was more entertaining and not aslost as they appeared as they were trying to complete orders. I decided to go with their take on the fish tacos. The breadedfish that was used isn?t a typical breaded fish you may come across and didn?t really sit well with me. I enjoyed the toppingsmore than the fish itself. The pineapples could have been smaller so I could have tried to enjoy them in the same bite with thefish. My counterpart did enjoy the sweet potato fries but wish her burger wasn?t so dry. Staff was very inviting and friendly. Ihope the renovations noted on Google as of May 2022 give them time to organize themselves and perhaps tune up their menu. Read more

Hipstery restaurant with breakfast and lunch (although for some reason they were only doing breakfast all day?) No real... kid-friendly options. Seems like they are still figuring some things out but food tasted great! Read more

Didn't even know that old diner went out but friends had been jonesing to try and didn't disappoint! We all got something... different, ribs, pulled pork. The rubs and sauces are amazing, portions we're large, and live music will be a fixture soon. Read more

We were visiting nearby in Joshua Tree and stopped in for lunch at 11:30 but they were serving breakfast only and no lunch till... 1:00pm. That was disaponting because the smoker outside was churning and it smelled so good! So...we left but said we are comingback for dinner and am I glad we did! On our visit they have just recently reopened so the decor was still under someconstruction but there was still plenty of seating on the picnic bench tables with great atmosphere. The open table and sharedseating make for a great vibe. The staff is super nice, made great suggestions on menu items and the food came out quickly. There was a slight mixup on my order but they quickly...seriously...quickly took care of it and got us ourfood. Oh...food...yeah, thats probably why you are reading this. We ordered the chicken thighs with potato salad and the spareribs (full rack!) and corn salad. The  chicken thighs were not bone in and were cut into pieces. They had a great smokeflavor, and still very moist and tender. The spare ribs in the full rack version was a huge portion. They had a great flavorand an amazing in house made BBQ sauce (which you can buy a bottle...which we did). I think they smoked them a bit too long asthe ends were a bit burnt and the meat completely fell off the bones. I like mine to have a bit more bo6te to them but othersprefer the fall off the bone method. Dont get me wrong, they were still very good and some of the best tasting I've had in along time, just slightly left in the smoker too long (in my opinion). So overall I would give this place 5 stars all around. The food, the atmosphere and the staff are all excellent.  If you are driving through make a stop, if you are a local, supportthese guys. Came here for my birthday dinner and wish I didn?t. No sides are included which seems like a pretty cheap move. I?ll say that... the cooks who work within the boundaries they are given do make an amazing Hamburger. But that was the only redeeming factor ofthis dinner. Ribs were very over cooked, even the bone was crumbling from a soft bite. Don?t bother on the corn salad either. Read more

A must stop at this quaint town that feels like time has not passed since the 1970?s. Excellent home feels, they know their... locals by first name basis. Breakfast and lunch items served all day! Restaurant open early in the morning too. Apparently thediner is being ran by new management, and from what we experienced, we loved it. Their drip coffee is superb, and it?s organicwith free refills. I didn?t feel the need to add any creamers. I got their eggs scrambled with bacon and toast. If you don?twant your toast buttered, let them know. Credit cards accepted above $10. Excellent cleanliness and diner decor. Sit up at thebar or in the booths. They have a large event room, easily for 40+ people. Read more
