The place has a B but the Thai fried rice is definitely an A! Very spicy so if you can't handle the head ask for mild.

Don't listen to the bad reviews, I've been here many times and always left satisfied. Maybe in the past wait times were rough,... according to the reviews from months ago, but they seemed to have stepped up their speed because I've never had an issue withwait times. The food is always delicious! I ordered medium spice level (4/10) and it was more than I expected, but squeezing theincluded lime over the dish brought the spice down to the perfect level. Staff is always friendly too. Read more

I was just feeling a little bit limited by the selection of food in the area lately when my friend and I finally tried Thai and... Lao Cuisine in the 'old Stater Brothers' mall. It was so refreshing to experience the flavors of Lao cuisine, with which I amnot very familiar. Everything we chose, with the help of our server Anna, was absolutely delicious. A great new addition to thelocal fare of Yucca Valley, just a few minutes from Joshua Tree and Pioneertown. Read more

Probably the first review I've ever written for any establishment. We wanted to try something new instead of the typical few... local choices. I must say that we were not disappointed. Found the place not very busy and was met with a courteous staff.Everything that we had seemed like it was freshly made. The flavors were all very rich and satisfying. All of the portions forvery generous and rather affordable as well. Both my wife and I had two entrees a piece plus drinks that came in under $50. Fromthe first bite we were very very satisfied. While we were there there were some people who were complaining that their foodwasn't already out and in a very polite manner it was explained to them that that person's mother was in the kitchen workingmaking everything fresh for them. Moral of the story is that good things take time , so take somebody with you that you like tohave conversations with, sit down and have some coffee with boba and trust in the process.. we definitely plan on returning Wewish this place the best of luck in all for a happy future. First time visiting the restaurant after the new owner took over. We ordered a carry out including 4 items. Took them over an... hour to complete. Once picked up, we drove straight home because the bags were already started to leak through. The orders werepoorly packed and not properly assembled. All containers broke and the soup spilled out. The paper containers torn apart.Although it changed the name to Thai and Lao, the menu was very similar to the previous owner. Read more

We waited a few weeks before going because a few weeks after they had their grand opening there was a 2 hour wait! We got in... around 4:30pm and beat the rush. The food was all very generous and great tasting. The service was nice and readily helpful eventhough being so busy. Will definitely return for more meals in the future! Read more

We absolutely love this place. We order the yellow curry with shrimp and vegetarian egg rolls and both were very delicious. I... order takeout and even though it was a 55 minute wait, It was worth it. I totally understand we need to be patience these days, the staff is friendly and they're trying their best. I'll definitely be back for more. Thank you for bringing this deliciousThai food to our desert, Yucca Valley Read more
