Went down today to see what all these raves are about and we were very impressed with not just the food but the customer service... as well! Sarah was our server and had answers to all our questions and had some great recommendations! The other two (Mikey andSua. The owners I think?) We're super great and we're so nice to let us stay and eat when we got there near closing. Finally came in and ate here and I am glad we did. The food was outstanding. Everything we had at our table was perfect and... looked great. Our server was friendly but like everywhere these days they are understaffed which led to drinks not beingrefilled and waiting long periods of time between food coming out. Appetizers were out with our food and not before. The onemajor complaint I had in Herr was the temperature. They are trying to cool the small building with roll around evaporativecoolers that put off almost no cool air. Since the kitchen is centered in the restaurant it just makes for am absolute swamp. Ifthey fix this issue I'd gladly give them 5 stars but I am not trying to sweat out 5 pounds while I eat. Read more

This place is such a nice find! The sushi is so fresh and everything we tried tasted so clean. Perfectly seasoned. The salmon... was my favorite and better than most places I've been. The portions here are really big too. We got some tuna and salmon rollsand a beef teriyaki bowl, which was packed to the brim. I'm usually not a huge fan of imitation crab but this place had veryfresh and nicely seasoned imitation crab. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. Overall, it was a greatexperience! I go to Joshua Tree about once a month so I'll definitely be coming back every trip. It's so nice to have a nicesushi place for when we visit. posting this same review to help this business out that I posted on the other review site since they were so nice to... me: ------- I haven't posted a review in a bit but decided to after the awesome service I received here. First of all, thefood was pretty amazing - was not expecting this level of delicious sushi in the desert. My wife and I were taking the baby fora drive when we saw this place - doesn't look the fanciest from the outside but wife wanted sushi - so we had to getsushi. Wow, the sushi was really good - rolls were really big and the sushi was very fresh - I saw that they just opened so I'mhoping it will continue to be that way as I plan to stop by here anytime I am in the area. I was really expecting less thanfresh sushi but it was so delicious - in fact, everything here was pretty spot on. I also had the fried rice which was HUGE anddelicious - not overly salty like other places but has a very clean savory taste. But more than anything, the service was topnotch. The server was super friendly and the chef was very nice. I think I came at a slower time so they were able to talk tous more - but really, I was very happy with the hospitality.
