The twister burrito w/burnt ends and pulled pork nachos are the only thing I order. The burnt ends do have a strong smoky... flavor. Would recommend nachos for dine in or get the sauce on the side. Read more
Wow!! The food here is amazing. Last night I was in the mood for some good BBQ. This was the first time ever trying Bad Brad's,... and it did not disappoint. I got the 2 meat combo... burnt ends and ribs with fries and coleslaw. The ends were so tender andseasoned well. The ribs were fall off the bone, also seasoned well. You can tell that whatever rub/seasoning they use took, sometime to prefect. Which was so good. I would definitely be back whenever I have a hankering. My new favorite place!!!! Read more
The food was okay. But if you are going to charge extra for things like the brisket, maybe you should put it on the menu or tell... people up front. The host/waitress was kind of confusing. She didn't have a sling for a baby carrier, and looked at us cluelessfor a minute when we asked for one. Thankfully we were able to fit it in the booth seat. There were other odd nuances, but thestrangest was at the end when she asked if the check was together or separate... Umm I'm here with my husband and 3 kids, thisisn't a date or work meeting. Not sure what she saw that would make her ask. Then she handed me the check like my husband wasn'teven at the table. He got out the cash to pay and she still gave the change back to me... Just kind of weird. I think there wasone other guy working the tables that was attentive and nice enough, but I didn't see anyone else. Like I said, food was decent,but service was a little confused. We were seated immediately in this nice cool bbq smelling restaurant and asked our choice of drink. Our order was taken and... delivered promptly . The ambiance was incredibly like a serene night amongst the stars talking with your mate. We put Brad'sBBQ on the top of our return list. Yukon Oklahoma has a "Treasure" with this restaurant for sure. Read more
Great BBQ. Between me and a friend we were making happy noises as we ate. I had the pulled pork with the mild sauce and oh geez... it was yum. I wasn?t sure though if I was going to have enough room for the pulled pork, because we ordered pork rinds. OMG thebest ever. Atmosphere and service is great. I would say this place was BAD but? I don?t think BRAD would approve. (Sorry I couldn?t resist) This place is great! My Turkey... Sandwich was great! Some of the decor was Yukon related and that was pretty cool. All of staff here are very friendly andservice was quick. Read more
I have a few things to mention about food and service. The food overall was good but there were a couple issues and personal... opinions. The ribs were "gristly", my son didn't finish. It was a bit pricey to spend on a small gristly portion. We didn'tknow until later or I would have mentioned it while there. He did really enjoy the potato salad though. My husband loved thecornbread, son thought it was a bit too sweet. I liked it also. It was HUGE pieces. My husband got the 3 meat Deluxe Plate andwas charged extra for burnt ends although there was no mention of an upcharge on the list. He enjoyed his food. He said thesausage was a bit dry but good flavor. He especially liked the beans...a lot. I ordered the nachos, they were good although nexttime I order them I will ask for extra tomato or pico. I was charged for a side that the server didn't mention was extra or Iwouldn't have gotten it. She asked me what side I wanted when I ordered my nachos, I didn't see that it came with a side but shesaid it did. I ordered the potato salad and gave it to my son. When I looked at the receipt later I saw it as a charge. I wasunder the impression she was new because of her demeanor, the way she answered questions and tended the table, no refills. Not ahuge deal if she is new. Now with service as a whole, all three servers, dropped the ball. There was a couple trying to gettheir attention several times as all three walked right by them and nobody acknowledged them for a good 10 min. from when Inoticed them. The man had to get up and go to them. Yes, they sat themselves BUT, two of the servers were standing right next tothem tending another table. They seemed like possible regulars but no excuse. I had some friends in from out of state. Told them of this great place for BBQ and so off we went to Bad Brads. Now granted we... were a party of 12 and knew it might take a while to get a table since there were no reservations. We get there and the guyrunning the place (sloppy looking with a beard) tells us 35-40 minutes. After about an hour or so I ask for a seating update. Hetells me he is waiting for one more table to leave. Apparently, this table had long finished there dinner, the check was on thetable and they were just sitting there talking. Now I certainly don't blame those people but I asked the "guy" if there wasanything else he could do to arrange the seating. Nope, one side of the restaurant had plenty of seating but that was a firehazard. I'm not sure why we had to wait for that one particular table to leave as opposed to another table that was available toaccommodate our group. It's now 1.5 hours that we have been waiting, it's now 8PM and the restaurant closes in an hour, and the"guy" with a personality of a hemorrhoid appears to be agitated when I asked for a seating update. Well we had about enough ofthis and decided to leave. We headed down the road to Earl's. I was looking for something a bit more upscale than Earl's but asit turned out we had a great time there, the food was excellent as was the service. For us, Bad Brads is no more. Read more
