I just want to start by saying after placing our order and going around the drive thru to pay the girl at the first window... didn?t say a word when taken my payment and giving it back, and then we pulled up to the next window to get our food and the guyat that window didn?t say a single word either?? No ?thank you?, ?how are you? nothing. The food was horrible the mashedpotatoes tasted like grits with no salt and gravy on top, and the chick was so dry I could barely swallow it. Pulled in at 9:20 and noticed the dining area was dark but cars in the lot and assumed only the drive through was open. Tried... to To order chicken sandwich, out, oven roast chicken, out, chicken salad sandwich, out, ordered 6 chicken strips but then whenI tried to order 2 piece fried chicken, was told the frier was broke. Just seemed odd there were chicken strips, but the fryerwas broke. Reading previous reviews, it seems maybe close is 9 instead of 10 as stated. Canceled order and went elsewhere. Read more
Drive through Today 07-19-2022 at 06:15p.m. I previous gave this place 5 stars the first time I went here, last two times it was... not even worth one star. Time before last the chicken was so dry is was like eating literally toothpicks. This time we onlybought 3 chicken sandwiches (just the sandwiches) and it was nearly $20 and one sandwich was suppose to be plain, (it wasn't)normally I wouldn't change my review about a restaurant, but 2 bad out of 3, not worth your money, mainly because the customerservice sucks and the woman at the drive through has an extremely aggressive, and angry attitude. It's 2022 people, at leastpretend to be friendly, Kept slamming the drive through window because the customer actually wants enough condiments foreveryone in the car, 45cents per condiment too why? Tried to go through the drive thru last night at 9:35 pm. (After I looked up that they close at 10:00 pm.) Placed my order and... was immediately told, "we aren't doing chicken strips right now" ?? I should have known better by the employees all sitting downat one of the tables inside as I pulled up. So is there some kind of cut off time to get strips? ???? Read more

This food was amazing. The rolls are really good. Hot and sweet. The catfish was so good. It was late and everything was still... so fresh. I definitely recommend Golden Chick if you like chicken. The only thing that wasn't that good was the coleslaw. Idon't eat green beans, I don't like the taste, but I tried them here and it change my mind. Try this place. You won't regret it. Read more
