So, I started off with the GATOR BITES... Surprisingly Good! Then the Crab Cakes... Good. My garlic shrimp was Excellent and the... jalapeños cornbread (even though it didn't really seem to have jalapeños in it) was still Delicious. The Red Beans and ricewas Good too. Was I able to eat all this food...? ABSOLUTELY NOT! But if any food is good, then it still tastes great reheatedright? Everything was great the next day too.. Props to Ragin Cajun! Nothing satisfies better than a hot bowl of jambalaya on a cold frigid evening and Ragin Cajun sounded good when I have an... out-of-country friend on an overnight pitstop through OKC. The bar area was what caught my attention and from the appearance, Ithought it was a restaurant with table service. We were promptly greeted and was told that we can take a menu, find a table andorder at the counter when we are ready. Our bean with jambalaya rice and sausage was a slightly customized order as recommendedby the staff, which packs a nice little kick thought it was a little salty. We have also enjoyed our etoufee but I think thefried mushroom took the win. While the food is flavorful, the presentation and fast-food feel took away what could have been abetter dining experience. The rim of the bowl in which our food was served could have been wiped clean before serving. Thepre-packaged plastic wear on the table is a mixed of what looks like leftover from a party. The other menu items could be wortha second visit but we shall see. Read more

I can’t describe the level of delicious involved with a meal here. We ordered the blackened sampler and napkins are required... because a) the seasoning is on point and b) you’ll be drooling so hard over all the food put in front you. 10/10 recommend. Read more

Nice family owned restaurant. Ordered a bowl of rice, lemon pepper shrimp, fried lobster, and sausage. The food was good(really... fresh shrimp), but couldn't really taste the lemon pepper as the flavor of butter over powered it. Other than that, everythingis great. The corn, best I've had The juices? After hearing about this restaurant from a coworker, some friends and I decided to go there instead of another place. When we... entered the restaurant, the ambiance was upbeat yet soothing to the soul. We we're greeted promptly by the staff. The waitresswas very knowledgeable about the menu items and even made some great suggestions. I ordered the Spicy Shrimp box #3 with a sideof the spicy rice and sausage. My drink was the Cherry lemonade with a shot of tequila. The bartender, who turned out to be theowner, stopped by the table to greet and engage us in a great conversation. We felt like family in this restaurant. We laughedwith the staff, who by the way we're very personable! When I tell you these people can cook, "throwdown" is the operative word.This Black owned restaurant is, exactly, what we need here in OKC! This is the first review I have ever posted. Man, this place was a-mazing! We had the fried catfish, shrimp, and fries, fried green tomatoes, and seafood gumbo with white... rice. The breading for the fried food is so crisp and flavorful. I don’t think it could get any better. The fried greentomatoes are addicting. My partner who ordered the gumbo, loved it. I was willing to sweat to eat some of it, as well, becauseit was just out of this world delicious. Also, the environment is very comfortable and service is friendly. We loved it here. Read more
