Holy moly was todays visit a huge bust! I get places are hurting for employees but come on. The wait time for our order to get... to the table was almost 45 minutes from the time the waitress took our order. When our order did finally come to the table mybreakfast was atrocious to say the least. I got the French toast that was burnt (well what was supposed to be French toast),scrambled eggs (which was runny and not fully cooked) and bacon which I was afraid of eating since the other items were burntand runny I didn?t want to take a chance on getting sick. I?ve always wanted to try this place. The food was pretty good but I was expecting it to be better. The service was honestly... pretty bad. My daughter and husband were completely done eating by the time my food came out (I insisted they start eatingthinking my food would be out any minute. It was more like 15-20 mins) They got my side and my husbands side wrong (we orderedseasonal fruit and hash browns but they brought us baked apples and hash brown casserole) not a big enough mistake to send backbut we did notice. If I?m ever near a Cracker Barrel again I?ll give it another shot this time going in with much lowerexpectations. Read more
Absolutely LOVE this place! We're from San Diego and we plan trips to Yuma around visiting this restaurant! The breakfast is... always super yummy, the staff is amazing and the store is always changing and charming. We've never had to wait but they dobecome pretty busy for breakfast so plan ahead! Crispy Turkey dinner was absolutely amazing. Our server could of been better, felt rushed out by the young kid. Brought the... check about 5 minutes into our meal and even asked us if we wanted a box. Now the lady cleaning up the tables and sweeping wassuper amazing and respectful to everyone. I felt everyone was taken back by her kindness. Got us some extras when we asked andeven stayed a little to have a conversation while our server showed up and felt like he was trying to rush her out of the way. Read more
A chain of restaurants themed after old county restaurants, southern food, and a county store gift shop. My middle school and... teenagers love this restaurant and their food. I think the food is just ok, fried foods, not the healthiest and average sizedportions but the prices are reasonable. I am greatly saddened and my heart is broken. I have always loved cracker barrel. But this morning you have let me and my family... down. I understand you are understaffed but someone should have just told us that our table wouldn't be ready for another 20minutes. Someone needs to close down one section of that restaurant if there isn't enough staff to provide quality service tothat whole restaurant. I have loved cracker barrel for as long as I can. Remember I make a point to stop there for dinner whenI come back to Arizona and for breakfast whenever I'm headed out to San Diego. I drove an hour and a half, sat at that tablefor almost an hour to get our food, to have somebody insult me by what was placed in front of me. It arrived at our table cold.Plate was cold. Even my grits were cold. The eggs had not been fully cooked and I can see bits of raw egg when I went to eatthem. While the top side of my French toast and my wife's French toast, both looked halfway okay, The bottom side of it wasburnt beyond recognition. I had looked forward to stopping at cracker barrel ever since we decided to come back to San Diegofor the weekend. This indeed was very upsetting and made for a lousy rest of our drive. This is still one of my favoriterestaurants and we still bought many wonderful things from the country store.
