I never got to taste the food. I never even got to order anything. I called on Thursday evening and they asked if she could... put me on hold. After 20 minutes on hold, I hung up and called back. My wife and I stopped here en route to Chicago with high hopes of a great Thai meal and were not disappointed. Due to all the... labor and such challenges, you order at the counter, but may eat indoors or do take out. We sat inside. The service as we satfor our meal was quick and exceptional. We had the Pad Pak chicken (minimal spice added) and the Gang Kiewan (medium spice) aswell as 2 fresh spring rolls. All of this was epicurean and super delicious! At the table the condiments were all you could askfor. I highly recommend this stop for anyone eager for a great meal and perhaps, based on your ?spice? tolerance?adventure. Read more
Aweful! Got take out, order incomplete, shrimp unedible (shells stuck to shrimp) very poor response to complaint. 30 minute... round trip and made us bring it all back if we wanted a refund They lost a long time customer over this...feeling very fleeced. Read more
The food is great when it?s correct. There have been many times where I?ve either gotten the wrong food or had... eggshell/miscellaneous things in the food. The service is horrendous when ordering takeout. They often immediately put you onhold and never come back or just hang up after asking to put you on hold. If you?re absolutely craving Thai food, this placewill scratch that itch. Otherwise, avoid it. Read more
On my way home to Grand Rapids I ordered the pad broccoli with chicken. My fault for not opening the bag and checking the... contents, but I guess I trusted they would give me the right order, that and I was in a hurry. Well, I got home only to find Iwas given something I didn't order (with beef as seen in the picture). I tried to call but they were already closed, and todaywhen I called they told me to bring the food back and they would exchange it for the right dish. I found it to be inadequate forthem to request food that I have already handled back. Makes me wonder if they will just give this plate to the next person whoorders this dish. This is my go-to for Thai food. We drive out here from Grandville for their takeout. Food is excellent. Prices are fair. Staff... is always friendly. There are several Thai places that are closer to us, that we used to visit, that just aren't as good as ThaiAvenue. Read more
