Ran up to Zephyrhills today. Love how many restaurants are independent. Went for lunch and my husband had breakfast. Had... fried pickles which were great. Club sandwich which was massive and tots. Never can go wrong with tots. My husband hadbreakfast sandwich and biscuits and gravy. Everhing was so good and service was great. Read more
Edit for 2nd visit at end. 1st time going here by recommendation from a friend. We went on 4th of July just after the lunch... rush around 1:30. It was about 75% capacity at that time. Plenty of waitresses. Our waitress ( Mariana) was ok. The food cameout fairly quick. The portions were decent ( slaw, rice, fries, size of shake), and the tastes was top notch. I had the BBQbacon pineapple burger with fries and a pineapple shake. Definitely a real burger( not pre processed made patties), and the BBQbacon and pineapple was a delicious change. The Greek salad was also delicious, as was the coleslaw. Nice facility with coolatmosphere. Overall we were very impressed, and will definitely return, and recommend to everyone we know near enough to gothere. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because we ordered a large Greek salad to go, and was very disappointed whenwe got home and found they only gave us one tiny little scoop of potato salad on top. The small salad has one scoop. The largesalad should have 2 scoops being that it is twice the size and price. Would I recommend sunrise eatery? Definitely! This is a 5star restaurant in the mist of tons of mediocre ones. Ok, so my second visit they lost a star. I ordered the same burger andslaw. Barely any pineapple on the burger. The slaw seemed old like it's been sitting all day open. I ordered the a caramelshake. Literally a tiny TINY smidgen of caramel in it. It might as well been a vanilla shake. Very disappointed ???? Apparentlythere is no consistency to this restaurant. My brother was happy with his spaghetti at least. Will we come back? Maybe, butgonna be a long time from now. Great diner, friendly staff, good food, huge menu, clean restrooms, relaxed family environment. They even make and sell their... own Greek salad dressing. They offer curbside pick up as well as a pet friendly outdoor dining area. They sell huge pies,icecream, and milkshakes I'm sure any kid would love. Read more
This. Place. Was. Amazing. My hubby and kids got breakfast and left with very full and happy bellies. I had the Greek salad with... chicken. I’ve eaten a lot of Greek salads in my life but theirs was the best I’ve ever had. 10 out of 10. Staff wasattentive and friendly. Service was quick. I will be coming back very soon! Read more
Sunrise is a place that everyone goes to eat. If you haven't been there, then you haven't been in Zephyrhills Florida. Manny the... owner is always greeting customers , hes a hard working person person always making sure that everyone is taken care of. Theygive you plenty to eat. First time here and we'll definitely be back. Great selection as the menu had so much to pick from. We had the following... lunches: 1. Blue Burger (Served with grilled onions, Blue cheese dressing, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle.The burgers are made fresh daily from lean ground chuck beef cooked to order and served with lettuce, tomato, onions, andpickles) 2. a Greek salad 3. Chicken parmesan (Pan Fried chicken with Mozzarella cheese, homemade marinara sauce and tomatoes.Served with spaghetti or fries. Includes a choice of soup or salad) 4. Chicken Souvlaki Platter(Marinated chicken skewer withpeppers, tomatoes, and onions grilled to perfection and served with Greek salad, rice or fries, pita bread, and tzatzikisauce.) I loved my burger but could only eat 1/2 of it as it was so big....brought the rest home!! I tried the chicken souvlaki....OMG it was so good, I'm getting it the next time! This is a must. We are here twice in one day. Not something we have ever done, ever! Every detail is considered when preparing... your food. Toasting the bun for a fried chicken sandwich. The coleslaw is the very best. Greek dishes everywhere! Don't even getme started on the desert. We didn't even try one. That is the only bad thing I can say.
