Went there today for breakfast. I was greeted in a timely manner and the food was brought out in a timely manner. The food was... just okay. The hash browns could have been cooked a little longer and the pancakes were kind of dry and tasted bland. As soonas the food was brought out, I received my check. The waitress sort of made me feel like I needed to hurry up and pay, as shecame back once to check to see if I was okay, then a second time, the manager was behind her. I was in the process of clearingmy table and getting ready to leave when she came by the second time. I just wanted to finish my second cup of coffee. Therestaurant was not full and there was no one waiting to be seated. I just got a vibe that they wanted me to hurry up and leave. Not to sure about this place and will probably not visit again. My Grandsons took us there and it was very good I had grilled cheese and tomato basil soup and they were really good the soup... was very nice my grandson had a steak and it was a little more rare than he wanted but it was good there was five of us so wesat at the round table in the back and it was very nice we had a good time and they had to leave when we got back from therestaurant and hope to see them next week. The Village Inn is a good place to have dessert too they have terrific desserts anykind of any kind of pie you can think of my favorite they have pumpkin cream pie. Read more

We came in on Father's Day, kind of late btw & the entire experience was phenomenal! The night shift manager was incredibly... friendly & welcoming. Joe was our server & what a gem!! We felt like we were on a time restraint coming late & all, but Joedidn't treat us like that. He was efficient & friendly. Our food came out perfectly so kudos for the kitchen! Decided to go out for Thanksgiving dinner. Went to Lakeland Florida and all open eating establishments were super crowded, for... Turkey Dinners, at 11am in the morning. An hour wait at all. Stopped at the Village Inn and was pleasantly impressed. The foodwas very good, the waitress was excellent, and there was no wait. This restaurant will be our new go to restaurant for many moreof our future Thanksgivings. Good job! Read more
