Beautiful spot! So tranquil and scenic, this hill-top winery experience left us stunned. They have so much history, and the... tasting room is amazing. You can see down into the production space where you will be astonished by massive stainless steelfermenters galore! Tried a 35 year old red wine, it was incredible! A must see in the Yakima Valley AVA Read more

We always visit Silver Lake Winery during our trips to Eastern Washington. The staff is always friendly, tasting and wines are... delicious and affordable. Yesterday, on a Sunday, we\'ve had the place all to ourselves for a couple of hours and the host(lady) was very welcoming and pleasant! Delicious pizzas, large, well-maintained lawn, beautiful views! Add them to your list ofplaces to visit! Read more

Updates 7/3/22: Sal has definitely outdone himself with adding pizza to the menu! Sampled a few yesterday and they did not... disappoint. Crispy, thin crust made it one of my favs. Sal, Celeste and our wine tender, Alicia, were amazing as always.\n\nSaland Celeste make amazing wine and spirits. I don\'t drink much wine and prefer spirits BUT, the Rose, Sauvignon Blanc andChardonnay are beyond top notch. Great on the pallette and packed with flavor. The Brandy is uber good and for Bourbon andWhiskey drinkers, this is a must try. The Brandy from Riesling grapes came home with me but they also make one from Pinot andChenin Blanc grapes and both have great flavor too...spicy, smoky respectively. Can\'t wait to make an Old Fashioned out of theRiesling Brandy!! Drank it neat to try it and fell in love with it! The tasting room is great and the staff is really friendlyand knowledgeable. If you\'re touring Zillah\'s wine country, make sure you stop by here. Don\'t pass it by!! Read more

Must-visit. Wines are solid, but the location is definitely the biggest attraction. The host was kind of enough to say that she... would come to us in the patio up until the point she would get visit with other customers as they arrived, which is always nice. Read more

The first sight of Silver Lake Winery is seeing this palatial winery sitting atop a hill rising above the road leading to it.... Breathtaking. But you ain\'t seen nothin\' yet since you\'re not at the winery. My lovely wife and I have been to some beautifulwineries in Sonoma and Napa counties. This winery could stand beside any one of them. You looking for a beautiful spot for anoutdoor spring to summer wedding? This is the place.\n\nThis was our final stop on our Wine Yakima Valley Spring Barrel TastingWeekend event. And what a way to end it. On their expansive green lawn behind the valley there was a waterfall flowing over anatural-looking rock slide, surrounded by greenery and behind a stone masonry wall. Picture yourself getting married in front ofTHAT. There were crafts vendors scattered around, a stage where a 3-piece rock band with guys MY age were playing great versionsof rock classics, and a big ol\' honkin\' food truck with a pro smoking rig all fired up on a platform in front--Kim\'s GotSmoke BBQ.\n\nThings started out in the large tasting room. Once again we brought our own wine glasses to the tasting room butthere was no need. We still used them, though. This was by far the biggest tasting room in the biggest winery we\'d visited.Figures since Silver Lake wines have wide distribution in both grocery and wine stores. There were two men pouring wines. Westarted off with a bearded, burly guy who also happened to be a school teacher--just like our beloved daughter (who had pickedthe wineries to visit and served as navigator). He told us he was leaving teaching to pursue schooling and a career inwinemaking. Of the wines he poured my lovely wife--and our beloved daughter--loved the 2015 Roza Riesling, a nice white on thesweet side. It has mass distribution in the stores but there\'s something about buying a bottle at the winery. We also bought abottle of the 2015 Rattlesnake Hills Merlot. I typically like a red that\'s a bit more fruit forward but Read more
