Second time I come here and have breakfast with the skirt steak. The steak is delicious! Tender and flavorful like I like it.... The services is great! The owner is attentive and makes sure you are having a good experience. Try the Chilaquiles with streak,the salsa verde is a little spicy so enough to give it a nice taste but not make it unbearable to eat. Read more
Lorenzo's catered a community event in early spring, and the food was excellent and plentiful. I don't know why I waited so... long to go back, but my breakfast burrito was delicious! And they made sure I had all the sauces I needed for a to-go meal,plus a lemonade. Thank you, Lorenzo's! Read more

5+2???? I must have driven by this little restaurant in the Shiloh Mall several times. Probably way more than several lol! But... it is truly an excellent diamond in the rough, a shiny nugget of a business that has to be very valuable to the city. All I cansay, my steak and eggs with cheesy potatoes, excellent wheat toast, excellent coffee, really hit the spot. My wife just had soupand a couple of slices of fresh banana bread. The soup was definitely homemade as was the banana bread. The food is fresh,Lorenzo makes sure he buys the food fresh several times a week. He doesn't like it sitting around too long. A nice business,kind people, Lorenzo works his restaurant with his Son, Daughter, and Wife not necessarily in that order, LOL! Lorenzo's recipesare his, he worked as a chef in highland Park for approximately 20 years, and in lake Forest approximately 14 years. So, he doeswhat he does extremely well! You should stop on in, it's a huge upgrade over the previous owners style. Our waitress was Lupita,and, she was a real professional and very attentive to our table. Her attentiveness and skill was definitely worth every pennyof a 30% tip. Make sure you stop in, you won't be disappointed. Oh, and one more thing, bathrooms were spotless!
