Everything overly spiced especially with chili powder. The rice, beans all red colored from so heavily used and chicken was... dried out .even the regular cheese queso too very spicy. First and last visit. Give me El Rodeo a time. Read more

In my opinion, the staff was not very friendly. Considering there was only 1 other couple in the place, this was especially... unexpected. They obviously had the opportunity to make a good first impression. We placed a to-go order and when the order wasbrought to the Door Dash table, no-one informed us that the bag left on the table was for us. We had to ask if it was ours. Tomy tastes, the shrimp chimichanga was okay -but nothing special, and the Mexican Pizza lacked flavor. The restaurant seemed darkand lacked atmosphere. Read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I have never received poorer service. Ordered take out online at 5:30pm, was notified the... order was ready for pick up at 6:15pm. Got to the restaurant at 6:20pm and was told it wasn?t ready and they would call me. Thehostess asked me to leave and come back when she called but it was raining and I had my son with me and we couldn?t findparking. She was very rude about us waiting inside the restaurant bc they were busy. No one ever checked on our order. When Iasked her If she could check and give me an ETA she was very sarcastic, didn?t check, and said ?40 minutes.? We waited until7:15pm and then had to leave because my husband was supposed to be at work at 7. Would have left sooner but the food was alreadypaid for. I was told I couldn?t get my money back because I ordered online. When I pulled up the online order to report an issueit redirected me to the restaurant and the same hostess. At this point it?s 8:30. She would not get anyone else for me to talkto. She told me I could not get a refund and that I was too late to come back and get my food. I am baffled. You order food,you pay for it, you get it?right?! Stop taking door dash orders, clearly can?t handle the business. Four other people werethere at the same time with the same type of issue. One guy had ordered his takeout right there on the spot and had been waiting90 minutes. She refused to give him a refund either. Absolutely ridiculous. Would never happen at El Rodeo. Read more

This was our first visit. We will definitely return. They have a big selection on their menu including vegetarian options. The... salsa was fresh, ask for the hot salsa, it's really good. Nice little spot in Boone village. The food is really special; the service is very good and the atmosphere is relaxing. Update:... lowered our review after ordering a fajita for delivery with bell pepper, onion tomato and steak but got a flavorless steak-onlyburrito (see photo). Called and asked for a replacement and offered to drive and pick it up. Was only willing to give us a sideof peppers! Updating again: 2nd round of bad service and food from this restaurant.
