Absolutely terrible and completely unwelcoming service. The girl who took my order was blatantly rude and one of the worst... experiences with service i?ve ever encountered. I couldn?t understand what she was saying the first time so I proceeded to askfor her to repeat what she said, nicely, and she snapped back. I?ve always tried to continue to go back to this business becauseof the decent quality sandwiches, but have had one too many unpleasant encounters in which I will be surprised if I decide tocome back to this location again Read more
I don't actually hate Jimmy John's. Their service is amazing, and the food is also really good. I'm just giving them a 1 star... review because me and my friend is arguing over Subway or Jimmy Johns and I choose Subway and he chose Jimmy Johns. The food isn?t bad when they actually tell you your order is ready. Also they open and close whenever they want this strongly... played into my rating. This is Regardless of posted hours. I tried this Jimmy John's location a few months ago and while my sandwich tasted just like I expected? I feel like the price was... just too high. Jimmy's has always been a little on the expensive side for a sub shop, IMO -- but they have a unique taste(mostly due to the bread they use, I think). Sometimes, they hit the spot as just what I'm in the mood for. But yeah -- I justremember getting the total at the drive-up window and thinking, "Ouch... Is that even right? I wonder if this guy is purposelyovercharging me?" I haven't been back since. (Honestly, Firehouse Subs has better sandwiches at the same price point.) Read more
We just ordered 3 sandwiches for delivery. Paid for 3 sandwiches, got 2. Called and gave them check number and they said they... gave us 3 sandwiches and wouldn?t bring our money back for the extra 7.95 sandwich we paid for. Now we have 2 members from theAlton,IL location cussing at my husband on the phone. No refund, Nothing Check number 172 for y?all to lookup on yourrecords... Food is good.... same as any jimmy johns. 3 star due to ordering online for ASAP pick up and 45 mins later when I arrived... (because I couldn't wait anymore and needed to get home) the online tracker still didn't say ready for pickup. The food wasready but they forgot to include a cookie I ordered two and only got one the two sandwiches and two chips were correct. But towait that long and to get home missing a cookie it just wasn't worth more that 3 stars... main reason I'm writing the review isto say don't order online trying to save them the rush... it is not worth it. Couldn't hear anything over the sound of music. Took the cashier three tries to understand my order. For a restaurant claiming... "Freaky Fast" food, twenty minutes between paying and having the sandwich ready is unacceptable, especially being the onlycustomer present. Not one employee wearing gloves in the process either. Finally got the proper order on the second attempt,after first receiving just half a sandwich and no dipping sauce. Employees were very rude when I pointed this mistake out tothem. Other Jimmy John's have been an excellent experience between food and service. Please, take your time and money anywherebut here. They are a poor shadow of the franchise. Read more
Love this place. The roast beef can't be beat. Better than Arby's. ????????????
