I had made confirmed reservations. The hotel refused to honor them because of some arbitrary rule that local residents are not... permitted to stay as a guest. I explained that I am a full-time RVer and use the address for mailing purposes only. I drove430 miles today and was refused service. My wife and I are both over 70 years of age, and I am a retired Navy Vietnam veteran.An Amarillo hotel that does not do business with local residents - maybe the Chamber of Commerce needs to be called. By far one of the best hotels I have tried here in Amarillo. Booked a king suite for one night and I was not disappointed with... the room size. The room came with a sofa, king bed, fridge, table, big screen and some standard hotel stuff. The room size andprice was reasonable. The down side was the restroom was pretty small, but the jet cuzzi bath made up for it. The pool areaalso was a bonus. Specially with that big hot tub and decent pool size. Hotel was very clean and well worth the money. Ipersonal recommending calling the hotel first and booking your room. Third party sites will get you booked but possible nothave a room. That is the reason why my wife and I ended up here. But was not disappointed, also it is right next to the mall andall outlet stores. Worth the money!!! Read more

My family and I have stayed at this hotel many times. We usually book around the holidays to visit family and see Christmas... lights. This was our first time staying here during the summer months. We had some trouble with the AC but the front desk wasvery helpful and promptly moved us to a new room. Once in our new room the AC temperature was comfortable! overall the hotel was really good. Didnt like the parking and especially didnt like being woken up by someone trying to get in... the room through the adjacent room door. Could hear the people in the next room for several hours. Read more
