I've no idea why I have returned to this place so much, considering the lack of accuracy, the nonchalant attitude from... management, and the exorbitant prices for less than full quantity items. I mean, if I'm paying $10+ for a mac and cheese, thatbowl better be FULL - and it never is anymore. Add to that, recently I had headed in for some pastries and noticed a giganticrat trap just outside the front door. I mean, I know all places are required to have traps, but at the front door? I used to love Panera and I understand things have changed since Covid, but went for dinner on a Tuesday night so not a peak... busy time and the person at the counter seemed bothered. We ate in and we waited over 20 minutes for our food, beeper neverwent off, went up to the counter and our food had been sitting there, soup and Mac and cheese were lukewarm. I haven?t been to a Panera in many years but I was craving a sandwich. I liked the pick 2 option so I ordered 1/2 Turkey avocado... sandwich, cup soup, and a regular drink. You can't justify paying these prices anymore. A small dish of microwaved mac and cheese cost nearly $7. A minimum of $10+ for a... full sandwich. It'll cost you an easy $20 for a single person and that's without a drink! The quality of the food isn't anybetter than it was. The quality of the service has always been below average at best. Before Covid the food was good, a touch pricey, and staff was friendly. FORGET ABOUT THAT NOW? not only did they discontinue my... favorite sandwich, everything has jumped in price and quality of food has face planted to a whole new low. I can justify theprice increase if the quality had remained the same but the way it is now, I simply can?t justify spending over $15 for lunch(for only ONE person). Kitchen staff was loudly and rudely yelling at each other about ?I need this? and ?that?s not MY job todo that?? it made sitting in restaurant an unpleasant experience. I went to get a dozen bagels and the young lady at the front register with the green hair had a bad attitude and to make matters... worst about 5 of my bagels were sliced horribly!! Place is dirty! They keep the smelly vacuum cleaner out in the dining room yet looks like they haven't vacuumed in weeks! I... also found a long hair in my soup and its not the first time. Place has gone to the dogs since the pandemic, why even botherbeing open? We will not be returning to this store. Poor management to the max. Read more
