Was in town over night and was looking for a place to eat. A friend had mentioned it and after looking at the reviews (mostly... negative) decided to give it a try. Well, I most definitely feel they knocked it out of the park. Was awkwoledged and satquickly. Was given specials and recommendations off the bat. Our server had a wonderful personality and any question or needwas met promptly. My meal was exactly what I expected from what I ordered and special hot sauce was given to me, free of charge,upon request. Price to portion was accurate. Venue itself was fantastic. I've been in the restaurant business for 25 years. One bite of and smell of the lettuce told us it was full of chemical. The... waiter never returned to ask if everything was OK. I went to the manager on duty who said he would check. Several minutes laterand no one came to our table. We stood to leave and saw all the wait staff and manager sitting chatting at a table. Weapproached the owner? who said, "We get all our lettuce from a bag. It should be fine." He just looked at us. We just walkedout. Read more
The food here is super good, but also inconsistent. About two weeks ago I came here with my family, my mom and I got the three... amigos, and it was so good that yesterday I went back, and ordered it again. This time though the amazing juicy shredded porkhad turned to diced chicken, the pepper was stuffed with cheese instead of meat, and it didn't come with tortillas. It was stillgood, but not nearly as good as the first time, and now what I had been hoping for. Read more
Just an average run of the mill Mexican restaurant. Service and ambience isn't that good. Had to ask for cutlery, water and all... the sides which were supposed to be given with the main course. Had to even request for the cheque and no one even bothered toget the credit card. Food was just okay Read more
Our waitress was good but food was bland had cold chips and salsa that tasted like marinara sauce burrito was bland and didn't... have same cheese it said it came with wouldn't even go to this location again. We were greeted promptly and seated. Fresh chips and salsa got us started. Happy hour brought nice discounts on both beer and... margs. Our waitress was amazing, bouncing between managing staff, tending bar and taking great care of us. She even made adelivery during our time there. Portions are huge. I could drink their salsa, the Chimichanga was delicious & the perfect sized serving. Service was excellent. View of Lake... Superior & the islands was amazing at sunset. If you plan it right you can enjoy a Margarita during happy hour (guaranteed toleave happy). Read more
