Ordered the Sashimi platter and a Red Dragon Roll. Everything was okay, the Sashimi didn't seem fresh, and the salmon left a... pink residue, assuming that was dye from farm raised fish. The food here is incredible with biiiig portions! The people are so nice and hospitable. We got gyoza and it was nice and... crunchy but not overdone. The chicken was nicely cooked and flavorful. The house salad has a really bright and zesty gingersauce, kinda reminds me of Italian vinaigrette but with ginger instead (and I’m not a huge ginger fan). I got beef yakisobaand it was really good, the beef was cooked perfectly! For the sushi, I recommend getting the crunch roll with eel sauce andspicy Mayo added on top. More fresh fish rolls than other local places. (Especially since Sushi Nini is closed for repairs.) There are a few Korean... specialties on the menu, like Hwa Dop Bop. It's an intimate space & good for when you don't want to deal with the crowds athibachi places. Negatives: -They use way too much rice. They aren't ayce, so they're just filling people up on rice & keepingcustomers from ordering more. At the end of my meal (4 nigiri & 2 rolls), I had more than a half cup of rice pushed to theside. -75% of the time on their menu, they call escolar "white tuna". Escolar is nicknamed the exlax fish. It's toxic ingenerous portions & still causes discomfort in small amounts. There are many countries that don't allow it to be consumed & it'simportant that it's labeled correctly. Read more
