Drive to the Zaxby's in Cairo. You'll get back home quicker than you'll get through the drive through here. The only reason... they're still in business is because they're open on Sundays. A typical less average dining experience. Food was ok overall that's why I gave them two stars. No plastic cutlery in the bag,... no big deal I guess except for the slaw. Very lethargic and less than enthusiastic crew members. Seemed two be having a hardtime with the rush of 3 customers.There appeared to be two managers working and they were doing less than the almost inactivecrew. This is by far the worst zaxbys I've been to and it's not because of the food. The men's bathroom has a broke urinal taped over,... there is no soap as soap dispenser is broken and hanging sideways on the wall. How are those employees washing their handswithout soap??? Its almost 50degrees inside even though its Georgia summertime. I think these young people don't want peoplesitting inside or they just want to freeze up a unit. The food is trash nowadays. It?s either cold/the chicken is fried too hard. I ordered the signature club sandwich, and the... chicken seem as if it had been sitting out all day/morning. I ordered via the app, waited several minutes after my order was supposed to be ready, but I understand everyone is... short-staffed these days. My problem was when I rec'd my order, my chicken tenders were not tender and they were cold. To givethem credit my husband really enjoyed his salad. The manager was very friendly and apologetic for my wait, but there were someugly staffing issues going on between staff members. I would hate to be the manager dealing with those issues. Read more

UPDATE: Tuesday Jan 5 2021 Yried the new General Tso's boneless wing meal. The wings were cooked perfect. The texture is... crunchy. The flavor is a bit salty and spicy. It would be great if they aimed for a little sweeter and less salty than currentlypresented bit not as sweet and syrupy as most of the Chinese restaurants make them. Very good friendly and Fastservice. UPDATE: Thursday July 4. After eating Zaxbys food today..it looks like I'm gonna have to just give up on themaltogether. Since last review this location has gotten even worse. Now the fries are way undercooked with no seasoning on them.Looks like they were taken straight from a frozen bag right into the fryer. Chicken wasnt much better. Gone are the days whenZax employees would coat the chicken and fries thoroughly in seasoning then cook both to a deep brown color. Evidently its nevergonna be that way again. The photo is actually darker and more yellow than the food actually was. Fries were almost white. Igive up. Maybe chick-fil-a will perform better. This restaurant has a history of poor performance whereFrench fries are concerned. They just can't seem to get it right consistently or seem to even care if they do.
