Ordered large trays for catering of Thanksgiving dinner and the food was excellent. Mac-n-cheese was really good, collard greens... on point and that corn bread had everyone fighting for more. The service could be better, definitely need to be more organized.There will be a wait for your order but the quality of the food makes up for it and they have a bar to get a drink while youwait. I?ve been driving y this place for a little time now. I finally stopped in and got a Turkey wing dinner. The Max & Cheese was... very Cheesy and had a good taste. The yams was money and gave a little sweet aftertaste which is fine in my book. The Turkeywings was tender and the skin was just right. I prefer white rice with mines but they serve yellow rice. It?s not a deal breakerit?s something you have to keep in mind if you what white rice. All and all I would go back to taste more items on the menu. Read more

The rumors is true . I really enjoyed my meal I purchased today. Great food and high 5's across the board. The owner... recommended I try that fried salmon and he was right. Bertha's was ok. I had the fried chicken, macaroni cheese and collard greens. The collards greens were very salty. They tasted... like glory greens out of the can, and the Mac/Cheese wasn't good at all. The fried chicken was fried to perfection. Nice andcrunchy. The young lady who waited on me was very polite. Everything was delicious! First time there I ordered online it was easy! I got the lunch special turkey wings over yellow rice... with Mac and cheese, yams and potatoe salad I also got the triple mixed house made drinks! I'm definitely coming back! Read more

Completed my order online and received a call that the food was ready prior to the time I was given to pick it up. The staff... were very friendly. It's tiny inside, but clean and has a nice setup. I ordered the deep fried wings with 2 sides. The wings aredelicious. The first few bites of my mac n cheese were bland, but the flavor luckily picked up. They were moist and cheesy.
