Literally the best in Baltimore. I do miss the pandemic sandwiches, but I'll live. Comptoir makes French food that is seasonal,... simple, and delicious, with lovely cocktails and wine. Ambiance is cozy and makes you feel like you've traveled to a tinyParisian alley cafe. If you haven't gone, you're missing out. Read more

The food at Le Comptoir du Vin was pretty good, but the interior is very tight and a meal for two is pretty pricey. Plates are... comparable to Petit Louis, but I can't say it slaps as hard. The duck rillettes and raw scallops were both pleasant, though Iwanted the scallops to have a touch more acid to brighten the bites. My SO really enjoyed his veal tongue. The pot pie wasgood. If you live nearby, it's worth a visit. Read more

Adorable hidden gem of Baltimore. You can smell the quality of ingredients used as you walk in and the people are very friendly... and helpful and knowledgeable about the imports from wine to vinegar to pasta and canned fish. The focaccia was fresh out of theoven, and looks and tastes phenomenal. Read more

It's definetily everything it's cracked up to be. My brother made reservations well in advance before our trip to Baltimore... back in Feb. It's a small bistro with seating for less than 30. The menu is all limited but what they do with theiringredients is phenomenal. Like who thought a celery salad could be so delicious??? There's been so many articles written aboutthis place from proffesionals that I can't really justifying writing anything technical about this place. Layman terms:Excellent! Read more

I can't express in words how much I love this place. A small cozy restaurant with only 8 tables with the only physical menus... lining the walls, mirrors, and chalkboards. Not only do I love the environment but the food and service were absolutely amazing. We ordered the grilled swordfish and bavette. For appetizers we ordered the saint marcellin which we thought would be aconsolation prize because the paté was sold out but that is just no true. It was so good we decided to get the half wheel ofcamebert which was amazing. The cheeses and in house bread were perfect, you have to order them. The swordfish and bavette weredelicious, but the bread and cheese is what really stole the show in my opinion. Absolutely loved our experience, I highlyrecommend you put in your reservation and try them for yourself. Read more

Everything we ate was delicious and even though we ate alot, nothing felt overly heavy or greasy. We tried the celery salad and... pate to start, which was so yummy that I didn't take a picture of it. For the entree, we had the ravioli and scallops. Both werereally good, perfectly sized and not heavy. Scallops were tender and cooked to perfection. For dessert, we had the blueberry andgooseberry tart which was amazing and wasn't overly sweet and hit all of my personal flavor profiles! This isn't a bigrestaurant, so service was great and the atmosphere was intimate. The bathrooms were gender neutral and had a cute waiting areaoutside. We loved the whole experience and would love to come back again with our friends! Read more

Have a new favorite restaurant in Baltimore and can’t stop telling all of my friends about it! We asked Rosemary, one of the... owners, to suggest the best items on the menu and she brought out diverse and delicious plates to complement our wine. Weordered two of the duck gnocchi, but the celery salad (of all things) might have actually been my favorite. Leave room for theyuzu cheesecake for dessert! Lovely atmosphere as well - warm, inviting, modern and playful. Can’t wait to come back. Read more
