i can?t stand the people dropping 1 star on this place. This place is the best. Simple. The staff is amazing, and the food never... fails. The people claiming the staff are ?rude and nasty,? we?re either rude and nasty themselves, or have no social skills. Forthe people complaint about hold time on the phone, the place gets busy, you?re not everyone?s main priority. This is the GOAT ofbreakfast places and anyone who disagrees is simply wrong. Very rude older woman there. Then again today, for the 3rd time now, I sat on hold for over 10 minutes. Hung up and went to the... Port Monmouth Gems where they are all super friendly and quick to get customers out of the door. They should send some workersto you for training Read more

Bagels were stale. I have gotten bagels from other Gems locations, so I was completely surprised with how terrible it was.

Great for a quick bite. Pretty standard bagels, pastries, and coffee but pretty inexpensive.

Went there yesterday afternoon, walked in asked for a bagel and cream cheese only three people there. One lady asked to use the... restroom said they can?t. Covid restrictions and they tried to pawn off bagels instead of what I wanted but still tried to getme to buy a jalapeño bagel when I only get everything bagel. I just walked out. Read more

Terrible customer service with outrageous prices. Won't let customers use bathroom "due to Covid." There is no state mandate... to close off bathrooms (especially in a restaurant) because of Covid. Was told by employee "I don't make the rules." There wasa better way to address that. To add insult to my injury, my toasted bagel with butter cost $5.75 because is was a "special"bagel. Would be 4 stars if they learned what ?please hold? actually means instead of consistently lying to customers and leaving them... on hold for upwards of 15 minutes and never returning to the phone to take the order. Don?t even bother calling into this placeif it is even remotely busy because they will put you on hold before you can even open your mouth to respond and there is an 80%chance you?ll sit on hold for eternity as you hear the staff laugh and joke in the background and do just about everything underthe sun besides pick up the phone. Unprofessional at best when it comes to working the phone, and couple that with the $10breakfast sandwiches and it makes it tough to want to go back to this location. Being busy is one thing but the I can hear theemployees small talking customers waiting for their food, with no other orders to take, and this is insulting while you wait onthe phone for 15 minutes. If you hang up and call back then the phone is off the hook so the call doesn?t even go through.Either get a better system for the customer to call ahead, or have some accountability for your employees.
