We had the ghee masala dosa and thatte idly with ghee both were good. But the sambar was not good. We took a side of podi which... was very nice. The filter coffee was good it was nice that they did not add sugar. Read more

The best thatte idly I’ve eaten EVER. The dosa was good too but the idly and chutney was out of this world. Delicious... food. Update: they’ve expanded to the shop next to them and it’s spacious and nicer. Read more

One of the best thatte idli I've had here in US. Order some ghee podi on the side to elevate your experience even further. The... green chutney was so fresh, so was the sambhar. I just wished it was a little more sour, but it was yum nonetheless. The dosawas crisp too. They've even renovated recently, so that's a plus. All in all, a really satisfying south Indian experience???????? Read more

Disappointing. Third grade. Too expensive compared to the standard of food, ambience and service. Rest of the food items aside,... first time I saw bidibelibhat so watery and full of potatoes. Brought sambar in small plastic container that usually would beused for sauce/chutney. I did take a few bites of dosa but couldn’t get to sambar looking at the container. And finally leftwithout eating, and enjoyed Taco Bell instead. I am not sure what are Bellevue city protocol to let a place like thisoperate. 1. No Covid precautions, spoons and forks are kept in plastic boxes that can be touched by anyone 2. They serve hotsambar in plastic container 3. Hot bisibelibhat served in bowl not meant to serve hot food, container was absorbing all theliquid Read more

A small area, less staff or covid are no reasons to serve food that's below average. We'd always go to honest restaurant next... door, but wanted try this place for so long based on someone's recommendation. Never again. We ordered South Indian Thali andButter Masala Dosa. Let me begin by saying that the dosa was decent. Chutney was okay. That's where it ends. The sambhar isbasically a cold mixture of sambhar powder and water blended together. That's it. The thali was served in a really bad state. And I found a piece of scotch tape in my phulka which I promptly handed to them. In my "South Indian Thali", I had phulka, chanamasala, dal sambhar and avial. And stale Basmati Rice. The food was subpar and made me detest South Indian food for several daysto come. One can only hope that they improve their standards to at least their dosa level, soon. Still not sure why it's calledUdupi Cafe! Read more

I went there to Have Thali and they didn't have it so i went for bisebelle bath(sambar rice). I was surprised they offered raita... as a side instead of appalam/pappad. I have to pay extra for it. The sambar rice i got had lot of burnt jeera and chilli so Ididn't enjoy the rice. I ended up paying $14+ for a plate of sambar rice and appalam, which i found it to be expensive. Theplace was not clean for a dine-in. The service was quick. I don't recommend this place as of now. Read more

This place has changed to a smaller space and limited menu. The food still tastes good. Many varieties of Dosa and other South... Indian food. Seating space has around 5 tables inside. Good for takeout. Read more
