From now on, I will eat at Bagel Chalet; the options and service are superior. I went to Town Bagel for a late lunch (before 2)... hoping for a BEC. The grill was not on, so there was no bacon and thus no BEC. I ended up settling on a panini, but they did nothave the menu ingredients (fresh mozzarella), so they substituted it for a lesser quality cheese. When I got my food, the paniniwas served on a pita. I love the bagels at Town bagel. They're always fresh and delicious. If you stop in after 2 p.m. there is a deal on a dozen... bagels for $8.99. You can't beat that!! I bring them with me whenever I go on vacation to visit family in Florida or NorthCarolina. You can ask for freezer bags as well and freeze them . They taste just as delicious when they thaw out . I love this place! I stop by a few times a month on my way to work. I always ask for the French Toast bagel. I didn't go in this... time because my bagel wasn't ready by the time I got there all week. So, I decided to wait for my coworkers in the car. Went to the Bellmore store at 2 pm. Very few customers but 5 people behind the counter mostly on their cell phones.Waited and... waited for help but was totally ignored.
