Had a pleasant 1st time experience here at the Seasoning Bistro. The food was flavorful and cooked to order and the server was... attentive and friendly. The only complaint is that the aujus for the prime rib was extremely salty but that may have been justmy taste buds. This is definitely one of the best places in Southern Illinois . It's upscale. Reservations recommended. Not open on slower days... like Mondays and Tuesdays for sure, and I know there's a third day as well. I've had almost everything in the menu, and it'schanged a couple times or more. I recommend everything. Not a joke. It's all fantastic. Southern Illinois doesn't have many"good" restaurants, just because of our location and financial status. The season bistro is a true delight!! Located in the heart of Benton IL. This small little town has no fear showing true flavor.... We got the street tacos with chicken. You can get it vegetarian with sweet potatoes instead. I got the bacon ranch burger Withbroccoli. They have a delicious beef and veggie soup. Packed with flavor. We loved the atmosphere here. Every staff member was friendly and attentive. The specialty cocktails were awesome and the food... was excellent. This is by far one of the best dinners we've had in southern Illinois! It was well worth the 1 hour drive!! I'ddefinitely recommend getting a reservation though. Read more
