I went here a few months ago and ordered probably the simplest thing possible: one scoop of vanilla in a cake cone. When I went... to pay for it, I was asked by the cashier, "Would you like to add a tip for service?" which totally caught me off guard andreally shocked me, as I have never been blatantly asked for a tip before. I worked in food service during high school and neverexpected tips, they were always just bonuses from really nice customers, but to be asked for one was not polite at all and wasjust really poor business etiquette. Of course I then felt compelled to tip and did, although I instantly regretted it, becauseI had not done so out of my own good will, but rather based on the request from the employee. Read more
I'd heard great things, but I was disappointed by how little taste the vanilla ice cream had, I wouldn't go back any time... soon. Edit to add: modifying my original view of three stars down to one, the vanilla milkshake I ordered was completelytasteless and entirely too much milk. It cost $6 and I didn't even finish it Read more
Love their homemade hard ice cream. I have tried at least 10 flavors and none have disappointed. They have some cool sundae... choices for kids too that have fun toppings like a whole dinosaur cookie or gummy worms on top. Read more
Yummy sundae. Also waffle cones with wide variety of icecreams ????
While a small chain, the Bethel Park shop feels like the small town ice cream shops from growing up. The staff are friendly, the... ice cream (including the PB Oreo Oat Milk) is great and the local gathering vibe is excellent. Even our dogs get excited for theBethel Park Bruster's! Read more
So the picture below is a single scoops waffle cone for about $6. Definitely unimpressed. EDIT: in response to Bruster?s... question, we also purchased a Brownie Sundae and were charged $11 and some change for both. Read more
