The endless garden bar is always fresh and offers plenty of options. I've never arrived to dine at this restaurant and found a... poorly maintained garden bar. There are many gluten -free options not only in the garden bar but on the menu as well.Unfortunately, going gluten-free was not an optional dietary choice. I went to Ruby Tuesday in Big Rapids, MI on Thanksgiving evening. I was extremely impressed. The food was fantastic and... reasonably priced and the service was extraordinary. My bartender, Keri, was top notch. Charming, attentive, knowledgeable, andeven though she was working on Thanksgiving, she never complained. My compliments to the management. The food was great. I ordered a burger and fries. The staff was very friendly. Really can't say anything bad about the... experience. I tried their wild berry lemonade at the recommendation of our waitress. I can't drink soda or tea because of thecaffeine. The lemonade was excellent. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who's like me and is either avoiding or can'tdrink caffeine. Read more
Service slow. Kitchen slow. There at 7:30 on Saturday night. Wish we had the salad bar, but $12 each seemed a lot - no... soups. Lumpy mashed potatoes, chicken cooked past juicy, broccoli - I don't know how they cooked it but tasted 1/2 burned. 1sttime I visited. Not in a hurry to return. Wished I had just drove home after shopping to reheat leftover pizza. Read more
The food was delicious, but the restaurant was so cold that several people, including ourselves, ended up getting to go boxes... when our food arrived. We asked the waitress if there was anywhere warmer, and there wasn't. She then said "yeah everyonecomplains about it being too cold. We don't stop moving though, so it feels good to us." Read more
We had the unlimited soup and salad. Our 1st bowl of unlimited soup was cold so my husband asked that when they bring the second... soup that it be hot. We heard the waitress specifically ask the cook to put it in the microwave. Holding temp should be warmenough to serve. The second bowl was serving temp. It was a good meal. Read more
The hostess who seemed like he was the manager was all over the place. He didn't know what section to seat us in, as in he... didn't understand how restaurant rotation works. The place wasn't clean at all. Tables needed washed the floors needed swept up.I didn't dare check the bathrooms. The salad bar wasnt the best. Needed wiped down. The lettuce had LOTS of bad pieces in it.When I went to add bacon bits on my salad it was all stuck together. After getting back to my table I was able to see the baconbits were raw. I even showed the waitress the raw bacon. She was disgusted, yet, nothing happened with it. The waitress we hadwas super nice but also didn't seem like she knew much about the food. We ordered queso as an appetizer and I'm pretty sure thatwas out of a can and microwaved. The tacolini or whatever it's called failed to state that it is a tad spicy and when we got itwas burnt on both sides. It didn't come with the sour cream I asked for and we had to seek out our waitress to get it. Overall,bad experience for our 2nd time there and we will never return. Read more
I've been here about six times now and very friendly very fast when it comes to food service and they have this really great... drink called ''The Ruby Relaxer''excellent! two drinks and you're feeling good and I'm sure one of the waitress in there likeseeing my face as she got a nice Christmas bonus $100 tip you're welcome! but she deserves it, she did a great job verycompetitive restaurant I would say fancier than most in Big Rapids try it out oh and don't forget they have a salad buffet enjoyI know I did!
