Consistently good no matter which location you visit. This particular visit was great as usual, but they were out of a few menu... items we wanted to order, so I?m giving four stars. My menu recommendations- Italian old fashioned and Pollo Rosa Maria. ThePollo is my ?go-to? dish- it has several delicious flavors just bursting out and the sauce is scratch made. Give it a try! Sometimes it?s okay to give a five rating. I haven?t been to Carrabba?s in a while, but every time I go I get that five star... service. My mother and I ate here today after a very long appointment at UAB. Our waitress was Drew and he was by far the B E S T... waitress we have ever had or seen! He?s amazing! 10/10 for drew FOR SURE! I'm going to start off with the reason for only 4 stars and not 5. It was Saturday night and our wait was an hour, we waited an... hour and a half for two people. While waiting to be seated I over heard the hostess saying they had tables but noone wascleaning them. I also observed servers carrying out food by waiting customers coughing right over the food that was carried out.After being sat it took 17 minutes to even get a glass of water. From that point on the service was good. Now to the food, thebread and olive oil was amazing. We had appetizers, meatballs and stuffed mushrooms they were great. The Salad was good but foran Italian salad I only had two olives. The vegetable soup shown in the picture was very sparse on vegetables. Our dinnerentrees were wonderful. Terrible experience and food! We arrive at the restaurant with 2 adults, 2 teenagers, a toddler and baby which they attempted to... seat us at a 4 top, so we asked for a booth. After we sat at the booth and waited for about 10 minutes, empty restaurant mindyou .. a manager came up to our table and asked us to move because we had a stroller, and no strollers at booths apparently. Wepacked it up and moved as requested and finally our waitress showed. Appetizers were decent and bread was good, but our dinnerswere second rate. Shrimp was over cooked, hard as a rock and left after taste like that of being cooked in yesterdays grease.The pasta was over cooked and the sauce was just bland .. nothing like what I?ve had at every other Carrabba?s Restaurant.Another issue, I was served my drink and sat there for almost an hour with an empty glass. Our waitress came by the table 4times and each time left the pile of appetizer and salad dishes on the table and me without a refill. Last but not least, afterI sent my meal back to the kitchen ? not once did any manager come by to check on us! We are super disappointed becauseCarrabba?s usually has good service and food but not this one. The whole staff seemed more worried about getting the placecleaned up at 9:30pm than taking care of their customers, so we will not be spending another dime with this establishment. Read more
