The burgers are good here alongside the chili mac. I was very happy by the taste of the burger. The chili mac goes best with... extra chili sauce and chili beef in my opinion. I will give the employees a big shoutout here for their friendly and pleasantservice. 4/5 stars, Steak n Shake. I'd love to see times improve when going thru the drive thru, but understand lack of staffand staffing at all locations. Read more
So unhappy with my lunch today. I was so excited that the dining room was open again. And was very disappointed. You have to... place your order and these screens when you first walk in, then seat yourself and wait for them to call your name and then gopick it up at the counter. It took over 20 minutes to get out order and then it was cold. You have to get your own drinks, andthere was no ice. I ordered chili mac. My favorite. It was cold and tasted very different. Steak n Shake has always been one ofmy all time favorites. And I hate to say this, but I won't be back. Read more
Sorry to say that it wasn't a great experience. Biggest complaint was that the burgers were not as juicy and warm as we thought... they should be. The fries were hard. They were not crispy or warm which was a big disappointment. Eliminating the waitresses andservers also made it sub-par. It's just not the same or as good, as this establishment used to be. Read more
Great little fast food option compared to other chains. Their burgers are pretty good though the patties are a little thin. The... onion rings are great as long as you eat them when hot. The skinny fries are good according to my wife. Great vanilla icecreamfor $2. Read more
This is more a review of what we DIDN'T get. We placed an online carry-out order during open hours and arrived at the restaurant... about 10 minutes later. We arrived to find the parking lot empty, the doors locked, and the drive-thru blocked. We have triedcalling the store and have yet to reach anyone. We have emailed and messaged Steak N Shake corporate, and have heard nothingback either. We paid for two dinners, and got NOTHING. Read more
This place used to be pretty bad admittedly, but I love their garlic steak burgers and chili so I decided to try again. They... have vastly improved! Every time I?ve gone recently, the food has looked perfect (no smooshed buns and sloppy chili spills) andthe drive thru line has moved at a much better pace. The workers on the speaker and at the window are so kind!! Other than thestore randomly being closed once when I tried to go, blocking the order speaker with a wheelbarrow or something similar, it?sbeen a very reliable place to spend money and grab some dinner! I placed an order to pick up on their app. Paid for it and went to pick it up. When I got there at 9pm, the doors were locked... and the lights were on. Looking through the front window, you could see a chain of tickets hanging out of the printer and theline was completely closed down and cleaned. Can?t get a refund through the app, so I called the store. Craig the manager sayshe can?t give me a refund through the store and I?d have to figure it out through how ever I placed the order. Eventually I wastold I could come in and get the food I ordered. Sure that sounds great, but honestly, I don?t think I?ll be trusting theservice at this location ever again. We liked the food, but we got our order to go, and it was incorrect. They forgot the drinks and the fries. I came back to get it... and they gave it to me, but I feel they did not have enough staff (however, that is an issue everywhere now). The atmosphere wasnothing special. Read more
