The food was really disappointing. My caprese sandwich was served on a hamburger bun, which did not work at all, and had very... little flavor in any of the ingredients. They were out of lobster and several of the beers they had listed, but didn't informuntil after we had chosen. Overall I wish we had gone somewhere else. Service was fine Read more

Came in on a Saturday night for drinks and apps. Service was fine once it got started, but we did sit for about 10 minutes... without a greeting from the server. The calamari was good, and the chicken parm egg rolls really exceeded our expectation! Mygripe is the drinks; cocktails are $18 each which is pretty far right on the bell curve for Boston. I ordered 2 well drinks totry to reduce cost, and was charged the "signature cocktail" rate of $18. 3 drinks and 2 apps came out to $110, because theytack on 20% gratuity automatically. (I did not notice at the time, unfortunately) I feel fleeced by this place, and cannotbring myself to rate above 2 stars despite the positives. Read more

Food was equivalent to continental breakfast with a $15+ price tag. Bacon was as thin as you could possibly imagine. The... potatoes were flavorless, mushy, and seemed like they were cafeteria grade pre-cut ones. Would have rather saved the money andate the breakfast at my hotel. They automatically put 20% gratuity on the bill, which if it were a large party of 6+ (it wasjust the wife and I) or a high end dinner of $100+ a person, I'd understand. Easily the worst meal I've had in the week I'vebeen in town. Read more

We chose this restaurant because we're staying at The Bostonian, so it was the easiest option since we were too tired and just... wanted to have a quick meal. We ended up having the most stressful dinner ever! We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrées, prettysimple. We waited more than half and hour to get one of our appetizers which was the clamp chowder. I mean, all you need to dois to heat it up and bring it to us! But no, it only came after we made a negative comment about the wait time. Both entréeswere OKAY, nothing special about them to even make the wait worth it. After finishing with the main courses, our secondappetizer still hadn't come! We double checked with the waitress to make sure that the order of moules had been taken and shewas like yeah, kitchen knows about it. When I complained about the slow service, not only didn't she apologize about it, but sheimmediately blamed everything on the kitchen and sort of clarified there was nothing she could do about it. I mean, she had uswaiting for such a long time, she could've at least checked on us or informed us about the estimated wait time. I assume shewouldn't care about the whole situation because the restaurant stated on the menu that 20% tip would be automatically added tothe final bill. So, after checking twice on the moules, we decided to cancel the order and asked for the receipt. Again, wewaited for more than ten minutes and receipt still hadn't come. We were so mad at that point that we decided to speak with amanager. She heard us out and apologized to us for the bad experience. We mentioned we would not pay under any circumstances the20% tip because there was barely service at all, not only did she agree on that, but also offered us a 50% discount. So, unlessyou are willing to spend almost 2 hours on 2 main dishes and 1 appetizer, DO NOT EVEN BOTHER COMING TO THIS PLACE. Read more

My friends and I stopped here to eat breakfast. It was our first time eating in this fancy restaurant. The breakfast was... delicious and a bit expensive. The waitress was nice and attentive. I would definitely eat here again. Read more

North 26 is such a great spot in downtown Boston located right next to Faneuil Hall! The menu here is amazing, with the coolest... cotton candy drink, chicken parm egg rolls, and a pizza called the “Fig & Pig” that was SO good. The Spicy Garlic ShrimpPasta was also to die for and the staff are so friendly! Highly recommend! Read more
