Haven’t been to East Sides in a couple months , but tonight we revisited the Bowmanville location for dinner. We opted for... the dining room for better service than our previous visit. We were not disappointed. Lucy outdid herself tonight , making surewe had everything we needed. They don’t make service people like her anymore. This is the first time I have ever taken the time to do a google review. The service was beyond expectation. I called in advance... and explained my unique situation. A server named Lucy was so accommodating. She said “no problem just ask for me and I willmake sure they are in my section”. She kept her word and absolutely made my daughters birthday the best. Not only did theyaccommodate my daughter and friends they also kept track of one of the friends gluten allergy. They even had a gluten free menu.So thank you very much to all the severs and especially Lucy. As a family that frequently goes out for dinner this is definitelythe best customer service we have ever encountered. Read more
Server was Paige. Came here tonight and despite the fact the place was slammed busy the service was incredibly on point as well... as the food and the wait time was minimal VERY QUICK. We were frequently checked on by our server who was probably one of thebest servers I’ve had at any restaurant in my life. The food including soup, salad, bread and meals could not have been anymore perfectly timed and were all very good. I do not hand out positive reviews unless well merited. This place has beenconsistent the last five times we have been there. To the owners be proud of how this place runs and know you have some greatstaff as well. I felt compelled to write this review because as of lately I’ve been to a lot of places that have been lackingon all fronts. P.S. Paige needs to be your manager she knows what’s up for customer service. Read more
For an extremely busy saturday night, the service was amazing!! Not a long wait at all, was seated and our server, Lucy, had our... drink order taken right away and bread/salad brought out immediately. Lucy was very good with having the salads and breadconstantly coming (even if she was busy) Best waitress at this location!!! Read more
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, and we had the most amazing server, named Lucy. Lucy was the icing on the... cake. She made an enjoyable experience a great experience. I never write reviews but I just had to for this one… I have an extreme sensitivity to gluten and dairy. This can be quite a... worry when I dine out. However, my waitress, Susan D, went above and beyond to ensure my needs were taken care of and took thetime to answer my many questions. The kitchen did an amazing job as well as they even prepared my food on a special plate takinginto consideration what food was were. Always loved East Side Mario’s but this experience was amazing. Since having theserestrictions eating out is so hard especially when your worried they are going to mix something up. But Susan was amazing and Iwasn’t worried at all! :) Read more
Was really nice. Took my gf there. Ended up on the patio on a sunny day. Food was decent. Drinks were good ????
Lucy was our server, she was stellar on all fronts. Ensured my husbands pop was full, we didn’t have to wait for refills or... courses, everything was on time, hot, delicious and served with a smile. Wonderful dining experience after a long hardday. Excellent staff!! Read more
