The setting in the old Carnegie library was fun to walk around. Our waitress was very energetic and attentive. We had the beef... vegetable and mushroom soup... both outstanding. The flavors of the roast beef welk sandwich and hot German potato salad weregreat. The four of us all thoroughly enjoyed the lunch and would highly recommend the restaurant. Read more
LOVE THIS PLACE. It was our first time eating here. Everyone was so sweet and quick. The food was super delicious. Loved the... sauce for the onion pedals. Plus the price for this amazing was great. I would 100% drive 2hr back to eat here again. Read more
The waitresses were nice and very apologetic. The potato soup I didn’t order was great. The salmon, instead of the filet... mignon ordered, was dry. The stuffed haddock I ordered was terrible. I sent it back and decided not to replace it. We didn’tgive the staff a hard time because we are kind people, but we would not recommend. Read more
Stopped here for a quick stop and we had to do take out because we were in a hurry. Which is too bad because it was a... beautiful building and worth seeing up close. The food was great. We got the Ruben with fries. Both were excellent. And nocomplaints about service even though it looked like only one girl was running the place. I look forward to coming back and nexttime lingering. Service is exceptional, but although the food has improved, portion size (raspberry chicken)seems too small for the plate.... Would be nice to add another vegetable or starch to the plate. The beef dishes at my table got rave reviews from my fellowdiners. I love the fact this restaurant has kept some of the original library look and items, but the items lose perspective inthe large dining areas. Read more
Nice experience prime rib any day is a winner. Got the super prime and it was 3 meals! Loved it. Baked onion soup was... yummy. However my wife said the filet mignon was not very flavorful. Also I'm 99% sure the German potato salad is from the canI get at the supermarket The chairs seemed hard and it was difficult to think of anything else after a while because it hurt somuch. I left happy, full and a sore butt and had prime rib for the next 2 days. I will be back and give 4 stars because theyserve prime rib every day! Read more
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and we very happy with all food and drinks ordered. Rack of lamb was amazing, so tender and... flavorful. I live in TX but would certainly come here again if I'm ever in the area. Read more
Wide menu, reasonably priced. So many temptations, need to visit more often. Seafood items are good, but so is their beef. Love... the horseradish garnish on every table. Staff friendly, efficient. Read more
