It was clean and you had plenty of seating and the food was fresh not cold.
I appreciate how this place has been cleaned up and no longer seems to be a homeless and drug hotspot. The remaining problem... seems to be efficiency, I ordered 20 pieces of mcnuggets and it seemed to take 30-40 minutes. Let's make fast food fast again. Read more
I always go here but this is the first time i?ve ever experienced something like this. I ordered my $40 worth of food at around... 7:30 and the employees didn?t realize til about 30 minutes of me waiting. So she took my receipt and said she would start myorder. She didn?t start my order and they ended up losing the receipt. So i had to verbally tell my order to them which is whenthey started it. Then they forgot 2 of my items in which i had to go back and ask for them. I tried giving them the benefit ofthe doubt but i don?t think that in a fast food place i should ever have to wait 1 hour for a simple order. Especially when theyhave many people in and out of there. Now i?m not saying i?ll never go there again but I will say i?m extremely disappointed anda bit angry as to how long I had to wait just for them to forget something. This is by far the worse experience i?ve ever hadhere. That?s taking into account that i?ve experienced a fight between the employees at this location. Read more
I placed an order through the app , went to pick this up after 15 minutes . I spent close to ten minutes standing there waiting... for my order to be handed to me , I tried to get the attention of an employee to let her know my order was ready , I could seethis from across the counter while I was being ignored . I left without my order and missed the train because of this ? pleaseinstall lockers or something, the employees at this location have poor costumer service skills . How did an order for 2 boxes of 20 piece nuggets with sauces and 4 apple pies take over 40 minutes to get? Well, for one: only... one of the contact-free kiosks worked, then we had to wait for substitute for one of the pies considering they were running lowand didn't think to have an alternative ready despite it only being about 8pm on a Saturday night. The staff was moving atleisurely paces despite the number of people waiting for their respective pick-ups and it appears they were short-staffedconsidering SECURITY was behind the counter helping to prep the orders. But what really stood out was one McDonald's employeewas behind the counter and on her phone while things were looking busy. Then when she finally decided to help prep food, she wasalso moving at her own discretion and even began dancing to the music and having conversation despite the growing number ofirate customers. With all the time it took for orders to be sent out, plenty of time was allowed for observations to be made.Out of the seven staff members only 3 wore gloves when dealing with food and only 3 had on head gear to prevent contamination.This woman with her phone went back there with her ponytailed wig uncovered. I was so disgusted I asked the security guard,Chris, if that same woman was a manager considering her polo shirt was a different shade from the rest. To which he said hedidn't know. I HATE going to the Fordham road McDonald's! Even before the renovation, it was just ghetto and unprofessional! My least favorite McDonalds. I have lived close to here for 20+ years and in those 20 years maybe from 1995 to 2000 it was... decent place to eat. A play area closed to the public and there is always an issue with your food or time. Mind you I live inthe area and when I do go in I always regret it. I know the neighborhood isn't the greatest and the staff has to deal with tonsof BS but the staff always looks so tired and angry all time time. Who needs that energy when getting a good ole Big Mac. Givethem a raise, make them proud of working for one of the biggest chains of restaurants in the world. Do something because at thispoint it just a bad MCD in the area. Read more
Waiting time for your food is around 10 minutes just for 2 mcdoubles and one drink, also your food is over cooked (burn) plus... the taste of the soft drinks is horrendous, dont waste your money and time in this particular location. I have no idea how thisplace is still open, I had to stop there today because of my kid he wanted a happy meal, it took 13 minutes wait for one happymeal, the place was so dirty, tables with left overs, people sleeping in the customer seats, some other individuals begging formoney, health department needs to be here once in a while for real!, drinks still taste disgusting, take your kids somewhereelse.
