My order of french toast has a metallic taste and a great deal of blackened residue from the grill. The homestyle chicken is... very stiff & dry. I specifically requested for the items that were missing from my previous order and did not receivethem(biscuits) nor the corn muffin and biscuit currently ordered, even though the receipts are marked as if the items are in thebag. I?ve tried to give Cracker Barrel the benefit of the doubt. However, there always seems to be a discrepancy with my order.Food that taste a day old or scorched is just not acceptable. We love Cracker Barrel but their to go service is horrible. This is the second time we came home and didn?t get what we ordered... side wise. I ordered broccoli casserole and instead I received hash browns to go with my mashed potatoes??? Biscuits weresmashed. We live 15 min away to come back and get corrected. Read more
It is different experience. If you enjoy old fashioned, family oriented cooking, you will love the Cracker. The food was good,... but expected the turkey meat to be of a real one not the Boars Head preproccessd kind of meat. I enjoyed the shop and theservice was quick. Read more
Edited I was hungry when I posted this but since then the manager did reach out and told us to try it again and I did and it was... good so changing my review maybe they was having a bad day .. My family went in tonight to this location I was getting mine togo I order baked fish , macaroni and mashed potatoes. My husband said the waitress called off when she repeated it baked fishWhen it was brought home however it was fried fish and like 3 small spoons of macaroni and my daughter ordered some maplechicken and ate in the restaurant it was over cooked and not good had nothing that even taste like maple on it. Never have had a bad experience at a Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. Had the 4 piece Fried chicken, a great choice. Wife had... the shrimp dinner, grandkid had the chicken strips with Mac & cheese. Great family atmosphere. Wife loves to shop the store.Love the old. Nostalgia candies. Large amount of parking , not truck friendly though. Read more
*old photos of mine to boost post* Came in, was immediately sat as there was only 5 customers. I saw multiple waiters standing... around not taking orders, just talking to each other. 5 people standing at the front counter I was there for all of TWENTYMINUTES and not a single person took my drink order. Walked out and left. Will never be back. This cracker barrel has wentterribly down hill in the past year. My grandma won?t even eat there anymore. You either get rude service, old food, orunattended. Placed an order on 10.11.2021 for delivery in which I did not receive an item ordered. Called to explain my circumstance and a... manager by the name of Cheryl advised that we could come and pick the item up. Unfortunately, I was unable to pick the item upand further advised this was the purpose of delivery being our option. Cheryl made no attempt to resolve the issue accordingly,escalated the issue by debating and further stated she bagged the items and that we could receive our missing menu items withthe next order. Our dinner was meant to be served and eaten on 10.11.2021. This is very inconvenient, not business like andcertainly not a way to appease. Lastly, the Sweet & Smokey glazed tinder?s were cold, hard to cut and lacked glaze. Not theCracker Barrel Service that I am use to, as I frequent in several states. We were seated and greeted immediately! Our biscuits were so fresh and hot! Food was very good and good portions. Our server was... excellent, kept our coffee cups full and took great care of us. Shopping. Especially at Christmas time is so much fun too! Read more
