What incredibly friendly folks in the store. Great prices, neat little artifacts, especially the bear figures. Everything was... 60% off. Facilities are spotlessly clean, great place to stop, camp or rent a cabin on your way through the area, highlyrecommended Read more

Only spent a night as we were passing through. Great quiet location. Staff were wonderful and very friendly. We had breakfast... there which as simple and delicious. We purchased admission to the historical walk / interpretive tour. Very interesting tolearn about the history in the area. The preservation of these buildings was awesome to see. So much of the original buildingstill in tact. We have driven by so many times but wish we had visited earlier! Read more

It was quiet when we visited fortunately so access was easy. The majority of things to see are old farmbuildings still being... used to house horse, sheep and pigs which was nice to see. The main building with the original artifacts still about wasfascinating but found the park a little short on interactive ideas. Worth a visit if passing and entry price of $15 is a fairprice. The campsites with power are limited but there is a lot of space in the field with no power. There is no shade in the campground... so it can be extremely hot. There is a small playground and clean bathrooms + showers but they're a bit of a walk from the RVarea. The historic ranch was fantastic to explore with kids, it's great they can touch items and explore. The wagon ride was funand the kids loved all the farm animals. Read more

We stayed for 3 nights and after the second night agreed we'd stay longer next time. If you're looking for a quiet spot this... could be it for you. We stayed in a clean, four bed bunk cabin and there was lots of room for bags and having a tub with hotwater was luxurious, for camping. Mind you, we didn't cook or grill or use a cooler and had our meals in the restaurant; thecoffee was always hot, ice cream cold and the food was great and usually quite prompt, and the servers were fun andprofessional. (Apparently I was the first to order the rice bowl for breakfast, what a nice change from hash browns.) See younext time, HHCR! Read more

Visited here yesterday. Such a lovely setting, lots of history and our first time riding a stagecoach. Staff all very friendly... and welcoming. Did not eat at the restaurant or camp, but a night or two in the covered wagon or the little cabins is on ourto-do list! Wear sunscreen! Blazing hot so bring water. Five stars from me. Read more

Great place to visit to experience how life may have been here 150 years ago. The people there are dressed as back then and are... very nice and welcoming. If you want they have a lot of things to tell about the history. Very interesting! You can take ridesin the stagecoach (they don't charge extra for that). Read more

Sm amazing piece of history. Very knowledgeable, friendly, kind and generous people here. We spent 2 of the most enjoyable hours... learning about the history of the hat Creek ranch. We had a stage coach ride, a walking tour, and experienced old fashioned homecooking from scratch. Those mini muffins were amazing!! Our tour guides were fun, pleasant and comical. A great way to spendwhile traveling through. Great job guys and gals. Thank You for sharing with us. Read more
