What an experience! This is where I learnt that food in Ethiopia is served on a platter known as a gebeta, which is a large... circular platter. First, a circle of injera (made of Muskal Teff, an Ethiopian grain) is placed on the gebeta, then thedifferent stews, curries, or vegetables, that you've ordered are placed on top of the injera. We ordered the Ahimilti Bebaynetu(Vegetable Combination - Cabbage, yellow split peas, spinach, chick peas, lentils, and tomtato salad) and Alitcha Ahmilti(Vegetable stew made from a mixture of cauliflower, carrots, mushrooms, green peppers, string beans, and potato curried inyellow sauce). They were delicious. The cinnamon tea was also pretty good. Read more

Very special experience, using hand to eat, like the beef out of all meat, interesting experience. Though no sour taste for the... bread part will be better for me. Also a little dark in the room. Read more

This is like a group project in college. Everyone will fail if one refuses to do their part - MAKE SURE EVERYONE IS HUNGRY WITH... AN INSATIABLE DESIRE. The portions are amazing at a great price point, and the flavors ? spicy or not ? are unique. Theinteractive style of eating (with ur grubby hands) makes it fun ???? Read more

Really delicious food - nicely spiced and flavored. Good sized portions. Food takes a while, be prepared to wait 45-60 mins.... Eating with your hands is the norm. Read more

The food: I had no idea there was such good Ethiopian and Eritrea food in Central. The plates were spiced to perfection. Each... dish was unique in flavor and spicy to an enjoyable level. Also the honey wine was amazing, so smooth. The service: I came witha group of friends, one of which did not feel comfortable eating with her hands. When she asked for a spoon the waiter laughedher off. She ended up having almost nothing to eat that night. What she did manage to eat, she ended up enjoying. However Iwould caution more reserved guests and make them aware that they will not be accommodated in this restaurant. Like the otherreviews said, there's only one waitress so don't expect to get your food quickly if you get in during peak hours. Read more
