Sister restaurant to Riva Lakeside Grill in South Lake Tahoe. Same menu and same great drinks. The 'Wet Woody's' are great ($5... off on 'Wet Woody Wednesday'). Good food, too. Try their homemade Salt & Vinegar chips and dip. Only bad thing was the Hostess(I think her name was Carla) was unpleasant almost to the point of being rude. Our experience was not the best. We came in a big party. Our table got seated 45 minutes after the rest of our party. 5 of us... got there a little late, but the restaurant could not be flexible to put us on tables that opened up next to our party. The crabsandwich was served on Sourdough Bread, but it was Sourdough toast. I expect more than toast for a $32 sandwich. Soup was ok,but a little curdled. Bar is fun and friendly. Stopped here for Mother's Day 2022 IN THE SNOW!!! This was my first visit here and was totally unplanned. We just wanted to get... a view of Lake Tahoe in the snow and noticed a restaurant here. I ordered the Seared Diver Scallops with Dungeness CrabRisotto. This was the first time having Risotto. It was creamy, tender and had nice flavor. The scallops were Seared perfectlyand nice and sweet. The downside, it was $49. The service was spot on! Smiles on their faces and very attentive. Every dishgoing by presented nicely. This restaurant is just so amazing. Great ambience, the view on the back with boardwalk, amazing food, great service and... outstanding staff. My boyfriend did reserve this place for dinner the day he proposed me and we had a great celebration here.Big shout out to our waiter Martin for all delicious suggestions on the appetizer and entrees and for clicking all our pictures.He definitely knows how to make your special day even more special !! The staff executed the celebration plans my fiancee hadtold to them which was so heartful and also they were happy celebrating our special day which made us so so happy that we chosethis place to celebrate. We came here because we had heard the crab sandwich was amazing. I had the sliders, but my daughter had the crab sandwich. I was... very pleased with my sliders, sadly my daughter was extremely disappointed and couldn't finish her sandwich. It was watery andtasteless. So while I can recommend the restaurant for it's beef, and the view. Stay away from that nasty crab. Read more
