Great local restaurant with a super cute diner vibe! You must and I mean MUST try their famous corned beef hash!! They also... cater to the gluten free crowd with awesome French toast, English muffins (which are ah-mazing) and bread. Oh and ask about thegluten free muffin of the day?today it was pumpkin cream cheese and it was SO DELICIOUS! Read more

Rather pricy for a breakfast place, but everything was freshly made in house from scratch, and was delicious, so was worth it. I... make my own Hollandaise at home from scratch, and you could tell the same at this place. My husband had the corned beef hash, and you could tell the difference from their freshly made one to the gross in the can style most restaurants use. I woulddefinitely recommend this place, provided you have no issue paying $20+ a plate for breakfast. Read more

I have been going to this place since I was a small kid and I continue to return time and time again despite now residing in... Texas. The atmosphere is calm and quirky. I order the eggs Benedict and it's always a hit... I do wish the ham was a thinnerslice. We also tried the special which was ribeye steak & eggs which wasn't as great as we would've liked for the price.Speaking of pricing, it has definitely gotten more and more expensive with each visit. I think some items were definitelyoverpriced but again, I'll keep coming here purely for the kind people, the good food, and the nostalgia. I love to see aCarpinteria staple still standing strong. Breakfast was very good, our waitress was great! Pretty patio to enjoy some flowers with your meal.

The food was gross and overpriced for what we got. Onion rings tasted like water. The pancakes were rubbery like Bisquick. Paid... an extra $7 for a handful of blueberries thrown on top and cold syrup. Forgot the bacon. No butter, napkins, or utensils. I wenthome and took a covid test to make sure I hadn?t lost my sense of taste (I didn?t, the food was just that bland). Read more

Initial thoughts upon visiting: Good menu selection, good beer selection, very friendly staff. Prices aren't bad for... Carpinteria. Some things seem a little overpriced, while other items are actually cheap. I ordered shrimp and grits. Dare I sayit? Thiers is better than the place in Santa Barbara that specializes in Cajun brunch. Hard to believe, but it's true! Tastyshrimp, good quality homemade grits, spinach. Only thing missing is the andouille. My companion had a breakfast burrito withcorned beef. It was very large and deemed "Delicious." We took home one of their large, pricy cinnamon rolls because they weresupposed to be great. They aren't. Meh. Overall: We like it. Thumbs up. Read more
