I love Cedarburg and I was really excited to see this New Mexican restaurant that I had not seen before so I went in and let me... tell you this isn't your typical Mexican food but it was so good!I'm going to be going there again and this time I'm going tohave a drink! Last time I just had a seltzer but the food is amazing!! the ribs are to die for and I had the steak taco thesteak melted in my mouth..You got to check this place out!!! If you're looking for really good Mexican food, this isn't the place. The food wasn't bad, but this is more of a Mexican fusion... place, and they only have small plates and appetizers. You will pay a lot of money for mediocre drinks and decent-tasting food,but it's nothing special and you'll still be hungry when you leave. The interior doesn't have much atmosphere. The walls arepretty bare, and the paint colors clash with the lighting, so there's not much ambience. They had a different menu than waslisted online, so I had to settle for something that wasn't what I wanted. Service was pretty good, and so were thecomplimentary chips and salsa. I'm giving it three stars, because it wasn't the worst place I've ever been, it just may not bemy taste. I like authentic Mexican food, and this place is run entirely by white people. I did enjoy the elote, and my boyfriendliked the wings. I really wanted enchiladas, but they didn't have them. I also wanted flan for dessert, but they didn't have adessert menu. They told us when we walked in that it was their anniversary and they were doing something special, but it seemslike it was just mediocre margaritas. This was our first time here. The service was AMAZING! Our server was extremely nice and on top of everything! We ordered the... Carne Asada and Steak Fajitas along with the Elote & Fried Plantains and everything was DELICIOUS! We also tried the minimargarita flight and loved all the flavors. The margaritas were made just right. I ended up ordering a regular size one as well.Will definitely be back. Read more
BLT sandwich with bacon jam in it is marvelous. Their chips and salsa are always fresh. The mimosa party was so fun and... refreshing. Staff is attentive and friendly. They offer plenty to do in their restaurant on the weekends like face painting inthe early afternoon for the kids and live music at evening. This place is very busy. Get sure you make reservations. We originally stopped into the Lime Catina for a drink, because it looked like it had a fun atmosphere with live music on the... patio, Best decision of the day. Not only were the margarita flights amazing, the food coming out looked so good we decided tostay for lunch and eventually coming back again for dinner. We had everything from tacos to chicken wings and it was alldelicious. To top it off, all the workers/owners were very attentive and friendly like you were a regular they see daily. Great place to meet up with friends! The chimichanga plate was yummy and the margarita flight was strong! My hubby had the tacos... and he approved as well. We had a group of 7 and were supposed to eat outside but the rain foiled our plans. Staff accommodatedus indoors instead with a little wait. Great service, freindly staff Read more
Service was poor at best. We waited an hour for dinner no appetizers. Taco at 4$ a piece do not compare to other new restaurants... in the area with no option to mix and match. Plus no differentiating or unique flavors. Margareta somewhat tasty but nothingspecial. Chips and salsa which was supposed to be special wasn't first batch cold, second so greasy couldn't eat them. The onlysavior was enchiladas mushrooms and spinach. They did allow ordering half green and half red sauce. I think the manager appearedat some point but never identified herself as such and didn't ask how the meal or staff was. We think the waitress may have quitor been fired as we couldn't locate her at any point after taking our initial order. Word of mouth brought me in and maybe thereis something I'm missing. The bar area of the restaurant was charming and inviting. The food was awesome, but probably won't dine in again. The lighting ... in the dining area was way too bright and it was difficult to have a conversation with the people at my table because of thenouse level. Will take out next time.
