Ordered over 30 cookies for delivery and never received it after waiting for over an hour and a half. I got a notification... saying that they were delivered and they were not. I called the store and they said they had no way of contacting the deliverydriver because they used a 3rd party service for delivery. They then told me all they could do is give me a refund and over aweek later I have yet to receive a refund. This store is terrible, why partner with a delivery service if you?re not going to fill the order. I ordered and waited over an... hour for my delivery just for the estimated time to continue to be delayed and ultimately for my order to show delivered withoutanyone ever showing up. I contacted doordash and was told to contact the store since insomnia completes their own deliveries. Ofcourse no one answered the phone. Wont be ordering from this store again Read more
Went in and asked for an ice cream sandwich. They were out of ice cream. Asked for the seasonal cookie. They were out of the... seasonal cookie. Asked for a peanut butter cup cookie. They were out of the peanut butter cup cookie. Finally settled on acookie they did have and pulled out cash. Oh, they don't take cash. And it's not like they were busy. There was NO ONE there. I love the cookies from Insomnia. This review is not about the cookies themselves but the the service and operation at the Trade... St shop. It is abysmal. I ordered at 712P, talked to them ~816P and they said another 30 minutes and at that time let me knowone of the cookies I ordered was out of stock, so I advised them to change them out with a different type. At 917P, someonecalled and said they didn?t have a certain type of cookie and again asked if I wanted a replacement; I repeated the same as Idid an hour prior. I again asked how long and was told 30 minutes. I finally gave up ~10:15 and had to tell the girls theirdessert wasn?t coming. I woke up this morning to a message that the cookies were delivered at 1145PM! They were freezing, allcrushed, out on my doorstop when I checked this morning. I asked for the ASAP delivery and received my order 5 hours later! Theyoung people running this shop need a more senior motivated member of staff to coordinate the activities from Insomnia app, DoorDash, etc and ensure the cookies are made efficiently and deliveries are made quickly. For multiple orders, from multipledelivery companies, they had ONE delivery driver. At best, two people should be in the shop with multiple delivery drivers. This whole operation needs a new staff and new processes; otherwise it should close in lieu of the more efficient South Endshop. Read more
It's ice cream on a cookie. Nothing spectacular and definitely not worth the price. Maybe if they had some cool suggested combos... or something, but when we went they didn't even have the cookie names displayed. So you just kind of had to figure out your ownthing after they read you all of the cookies they have. Read more
I ordered a 12 pack with 2 additional specialty cookies on doordash pickup. When I arrived the cookies were not ready. He... prepared my order under the counter and then he handed me a 12 pack box. I asked if all 12 plus the other 2 were in the box andhe said yes. I got to my office and saw I was shorted 3 cookies. The phone just rings and rings and I can't seem to get a holdof anyone at corporate. This location is bad don't go here. Read more
Walked in late night after a cool concert at the spectrum center only to find some gluten-free cookies and a very nice person... working here. After a few drunk people got out of the way we had a really nice chat with the server who was nice. The creamcheese frosting was crazy good... I'm not so certain that the gluten-free cookies we got were gluten free but they werewonderful whatever the heck it was we ate lol I think that this stuff is probably pre-made and baked later but late night allbets are off. The ice cream situation was Blue Bell which not crazy about anyways but there were only three kinds of ice creamleft and what they had left didn't look great. I just left Insomnia and its veterans day. I read online that there was a free 6 pack cookies with one purchase , I go in and... wait for 20 minutes in line to have the cashier person be very rude to me when I asked if they were still doing the veterans dayvoucher. Tells me ?thats a no? and then continues to stare at me and then puts his hand to his head and shake it . He was rudeand stared nasty at everyone that come to the register. Someone needs to fire him his customer service is horrible. Find betterpeople to run your store. I left after that I?ll go to crumbl cookie instead the customer service is never this horrible.
