I used to be a big fan of this place, ever since moving to chico 4 years ago. i would come at least once a week for a while and... raved about this place to friends/coworkers, but honestly it?s just gone down hill. the new workers aren?t friendly orwelcoming, and customer service is a big part of enjoying your experience somewhere. this wasn?t just a one off day, but mylast multiple visits. my food the last few times hasn?t tasted very well, i didn?t even end up getting 5 bites into my last pitabefore throwing it out, despite it being what I usually go to. food quality + cm service will not have me back. Please tip workers directly! As mentioned before Thomas is the man so tip him directly too! Staff there is great everytime!... That's why I say tip directly! Upper management decided they deserve tips too, without any policy in place, which is a big no noin the food industry. The staff there are rockstars and I know how much they appreciate any kind of tips big or small.Everything there I've ever had is absolutely delicious, I love the food. My wife ordered a chicken Souvlaki Pita a few months back which I wouldn't have never known to order and wow was it excellent.... I'm glad to have a new favorite to add to my lunch stops downtown in Chico. As well as the food, the staff is great and Iparticularly appreciate Thomas who is kind-hearted and great at his job. I recently made a mistake on an online order and theway Thomas took care of me very much cemented my good feelings toward Pita Pit. Food is ok. It is also healthy, I think. However, the owner (also the server) made me feel uncomfortable because he was watching... me putting in tips on the machine as if he wanted to force me to give him the tips. I guess I will stay away from him and thisplace. Read more
